I wrote some things earlier about alpha and beta personalities. And what I am writing now will be very polarized.

Josy is a beta girl. She follows Maya, she follows MC. She is afraid of losing both of them. Already wanted to run away. The signs of this are many.

Maya is a hidden and suppressed alpha woman. (I can hear the groans of the community now) But given her past with a very dominant Alpha father, it is not surprising that Maya could not develop her Alpha skills. The characteristics of a positive alpha are present in Maya (self-confident, proactive, committed, independent and self-critical), but very underdeveloped. If she succeeds with the help of the MC to face the necessary confrontation with her father, the knot could burst with Maya.

Not sure I'd go for polarizing - I just don't see how you arrive at that conclusion?

Josy:
Was the one who initiated getting closer to MC suggesting the ride home and the date.
Invited MC for netflix and chill when her parents were out of town.
Was the 'leader' not the 'lead' in the camping flashback.
Up and ran from home with next to no money to attend B&R
Didn't back down to Quinn
and depending on your choices she's very much forward physically and will give Tommy a kicking if you wuss out.

The only time she's been 'submissive' and on the backfoot was during the M&J reveal and relationship up to the Library scene. I'd put that down to her one seeming weakness in that Josy doesn't thrive on being alone and left out.

As for Maya being an Alpha.............That'd be the same Maya who's been a plaything for Quinn, hostage to her dad, afraid to reveal her sexuality and on and on.

I'm not sure she even qualifies as Beta and is probably way back in Charlie.



EDIT: I'm not being a Maya hater but each girl fulfills a role in the game and where Jill is the refined young lady who you must despoil and turn into a woman, Maya is for the white knights who need to rescue a princess.

who is the alpha always depends on the context, family and work for example are different contexts.

in the trouple I agree that Maya is the alpha, she decides if it can be done or not, she proclaims the conditions under which they will go ahead, the other two can only agree.

ive always felt that most alphas are just born that way. natural leaders thru some gift. charisma. charm, bid penis, physic, beauty. but others without these gifts are formed/created thru some experience of trauma. such as bulliying, abuse or near death experiences etc. i think maya could turn alpha thru parent abuse. but shes isnt one now or yet

In anticipation of episode 7 I thought I’d come up with a list of theories and unanswered plot threads and speculate on how likely they are to be true and if we’ll get development in this episode. These aren’t in any particular order, I just wrote them as they occurred to me

• Jade is Sages Step/Mum - I like this theory. It makes sense, and will also help to create some controversy for Sage in the late game, since her plot with Chad has lost its tension now they have broken up. Probably won’t get answers this episode.
• Vinny attacked Quinn - unclear, though he is a candidate. Her dad might be as well (if he’s a junkie and not dead). Unlikly to be answered This episode.
• What happened to Vinny - Why did he leave school? If he’s to much of a prick for Tommy to get along with then what exactly did he do? Did Tommy and Quinn team up to get rid of him? perhaps A little progress on this in episode 7.
• DIK Phones - Between Jamie loosing his phone, and both the MC and him being gifted phones by Rusty, I think there is something going on. If this is significant I think we’ll see something happen. For example the Jade video getting leaked (if you didn’t already share it)
• DiK traitor - I think Nick is being set up as the red herring. His room didn’t get trashed and he was looking in the Library for the laptop. If I had to guess, I’d say Leeroy. This is only really because he seems to care The least out of everyone (he doesn’t touch his room). Possibly an end of episode reveal.
• Bella’s locked room - I don’t think we’ll get a reveal. My theory is it’s Jame’s possessions, including his military uniform on a mannequin. (Not 100% off the dead body idea, Bella is cray-cray after all, but, like 95% sure)
• Bella’s husband - Jame’s is dead or missing. Fairly sure this will be the case. Don’t really think her emotional damage can be justified by the cheating theory. Might get progress this episode don’t think we’ll get a conclusion.
• Fate of Cathy - not sure we’ll get a complete resolution, but think the MC might visit her at her place.
• Fate of Maya - Doubt this will be fully resolved, however it’s possible, on the Thrupple path MC will buy her sometime as her boyfriend. Might be Maya leaves for a
• Jill‘s past - Presumed bullying. What is her campaign group? I think we’ll get some more information on this in the episode.
• Quinn’s financial trouble - I think there is more to this. Obvious thing would be if she is trying to financially support someone, or perhaps got saddled with a debt from her dad. This is unlikely to become clear for a while.
• Alphas - Presumably some fighting or abuse during the HOTs party. Be interesting to see if MC and Tommy keep out of it. We already know something is going to happen
• Fix the mansion - I appreciate this mini game was a love it or hate it thing. I quite liked it. Wondering if we’ll need everything fixed this episode? If I had to guess I’d say it will be the end of episode 8 and there will be a big old party to go with it.
• Jobs (Strip club/ old people’s home) - will other jobs come up? Will we have to choose between work and dates/ parties? I hope not
• Mona gone for ever - should find out a bit more about Mona. I hope there is a way back for her but I doubt it.
• Derek x Ashley x Anthony - This should be a fun subplot. Anthony is easily the most likeable Jock. Derek fucked up. Could very well be the source of the HoT party drama.
• Jill’s concert - Seems to be getting close. Could be this episode if not will have to be episode 8.
• Shadow when Getting blown by Bella - Who witnessed it, did they get proof. Will they try to blackmail MC or Bella? Can be fairly sure there won’t be NTR so the consequences of this will be interesting. Probably find something out either episode 7 or 8.
• Bella’s crazy - So we know Bella was about to flip out When the MC cuddles her. This is going to get progressively worse as time goes on. Especially if her husband does return. Also think there is a complete lapse in judgment by her and MC to sleep over at the mansion. It actually boarders on bad writing.
• Chad x Troy x I still think this will turn out to be the case. Doubt we’ll get it revealed this episode. Could be some of the HOTs drama though. I imagine MC will find out and have to decide if he tells anyone (including Sage)
• MCs X - Will Zoe return? Not sure on this, feel like she may just be a one and done character
• Burkes whore fund - where does he get the money to prop up the free tuition?
• Jade - What can the ramifications of her and MCs relationship being discovered if it’s only known in some play throughs? If I had to guess it will be discovered in some other way, for example from the MCs new phone
• Josy doesn’t have a story? - Will Josy actually get her own story? She is tied to Maya at the moment but doesn’t have any of her own drama. Sage has Chad, Jill has Tybalt, Bella a James, Maya has her dad, Josy has Maya(?) be interesting if she gets her own drama

You make me think about it, and yeah, trashing each other house is a step to far. But the other things in the list, with some of them there are nothing wrong, with others is just youngish behaviour.

Or like the phone talking with Jill... well the problem there is that you call a virgin girl that has feelings for you (that you provoke) so you can get info so you can have a party with stripers. Yeah, thats being an ashole. But the regular kind of ashole we are couse is a porn game. If Jill is just your friend, to get some info without giving your reasons, nothing wrong.
Other things are in a greay zone. Like taking the drone. If they give it back is ok.

Maya’s weird in the sense of she doesn’t even qualify as a beta - she’s oppressed, follows someone else’s lead, is easy to push around and let’s other people make decisions for her. She’s making progress though - her slapping of Quinn was more of an outburst than her standing her ground but we will see what happens next episode.

With Maya a piece of it is she's a bit submissive and pretty naive. The slap came from her getting backed into a corner. I would say fight or flight, but she did both. But that may give her a little more backbone moving forward..... maybe.
