We also do not know HOW Burke got the video with sex with MC and Jade from Rusty's closed laptop. I'm not saying that it will be exactly like this. But I see certain hints of the DPC on the development of the plot and its tendency to certain cliches and drama, and I draw this conclusion. Just a guess....

BADIK would take a Mister Robot turn, which would profoundly change the atmosphere.
I have a few hypotheses who actually stole and handed the sex tape.
1) That's probably the most logical explanation. The Hots have planned a party with preps and need to let the Diks know about it. But Quinn did not said. Tommy freaks out and goes for a fight with the jocks. And then the guys go to save the girls from the preps. The mansion is left alone and unprotected. The jocks are breaking in and trashing everything. But how would they know where the laptop with the sex tape was? Quinn told Doe. Tommy may have blabbed when he was doing drugs. He could have said the password. That's how Quinn found out where all the information was stored. Quinn couldn't have known about it at all, but she needed some dirt on Burke so she could blackmail him.
2) Someone on the Dik could've smuggled it out to Quinn. It could have been Nick. She probably gave him free drugs in exchange for a compromising sex tape.
3) Jade herself might have sent that video. She definitely hates Burke. With this video, she wanted to get back at him for his cheating with female students by cheating on a video with a student. She could have downloaded to her phone and secretly sent it to her husband.

1. No party happened in DIK mansion since the thrashing of it. The laptop got stolen that time, not when they thrashed the mansion.
2. What exactly Quinn need from a video? Did she seem like a tech genius to you? Only thing you said that makes a little sense so far is Nick could've been it, and that's said probably 1000 times before. When do we see Nick using drugs? Never.
When do we see Quinn giving someone free drugs? Only Riona. And that's for a while.
Now that will be eye opening, that scenario can clearly be avoided, so nope, something that big wouldn't be avoidable.

Exactly. It makes no sense for either Tommy, the main character or Rusty to send the video to Burke. Which means either the video was stolen earlier, or Nick overheard them somehow and found out the code. Or he just stole the MC's old phone and downloaded a sex tape from there.

See ? I told you it was not as bad as it seemed 2 weeks ago. You know when I said, that he might focused on the harder parts first, and now the thing can speed up.It's probably best not to get too optimistic, and my gut sill favors an early November release. But we can at least say a Halloween release is a valid possibility again.
. october 29 is still a possibility, and I think the worst case scenario, is a november 5. .

I think it’s Arieth. Might be Sage, she says she avoiding her Dad. Thing is I think this is a mislead, as I think Steven Burke is Sage‘s Dad.If you look at this guy and think away the beard, he bears a strong resemblance to the MC, I think.

Possible to get really in the weeds on Sage and the Burke’s, that the guy above his her Dad and Jade’s ex-husband, so he is looking for Sage, his daughter, while she is still connected to Jade. This add‘s an unnecessary level of contrivance though.
I’d say 9/10 he is Arieth‘s Dad.

I think DPC is aiming for Halloween release because it will (hopefully) coincide with the big costume party at the renovated DIK house. Realistically though, I still say he won't hit that mark and it will be early November instead.
If we do have a Halloween party then it will have to be near the end because the ep. 7 concluding notes state that we still have two more opportunities to repair the house. And since every DPC episode apparently needs to have a "shocking" cliffhanger, that means something interesting (aka drama) will happen either at the party or soon thereafter. What party drama could surpass the Cathy cluck?
BTW, I'd like Caleb and some jocks to try crashing the party. MC can have a rematch with him, right there in front of everyone. After MC knocks him TFO, "OnePunchAlex" can step up to get the beating he deserves too.
Oh, and any chance MC convinces Jill to attend the party? Can you imagine the looks on the DIKs and HOTs faces if MC rolls up with Ms. Thicc Thighs herself? But knowing her she will probably have another fucking picnic planned in Horse Shit Field for Halloween night. Either that or she will want to spend it working at the soup kitchen. It will be one of those lovely DPC relationship ending choices: Go to a rockin' Halloween party or spend a sexless evening with Jill talking about how things are moving too fast for her.

This is Josy's future boyfriend, if you're not in her route. DPC wouldn't come up with a design for a random guy for nothing. According to Josy, she's good with him. If you choose Maya, then Josy will have no other choice!
