VN - Ren'Py - Being a DIK [v0.10.1] [DrPinkCake]

**I don't often write reviews, in fact this is my first one on here but the fact that I had to, I believe speaks to how good this game is!**
So far everything is absolutely perfect here! Most games have extremely cheesy writing or punchlines that hit way too far off the target to land. Here is a very good example of the contrary, the dialogue and inner monologue is well written, clever and subtle. It just simply works!
I found myself laughing on some of the jokes and situations and that really helps with the bonding part as well as making character's personalities more believable and fleshed out.
Unfortunately I'm unable to support the patreon at this point in time but I sincerely hope to see this game progress further (hopefully to completion) because it simply is THAT good!

- In my opinion the school gangs and their behavior is unrealistic and therefore shitting on immersion (as if everyone including the teachers were totally dumb)
- no choices, there is just one way how the story goes

In my opinion "Beeing a DIK" is the best adult-game on this site, at the moment.

Dr. Pink Cake managed to heave the quality of his game to another level. (That wasn't an easy task, cause "Acting Lessons" already was such a beautiful game)

The game has very deep and interesting characters, who look splendid, btw. It has a catchy setting, and so far a very interesting story plot. In technical terms it's a huge upgrade to "Acting Lessons", just look at the renders and animations.

I haven't decided, who is going to be my favourite char, maybe Isabella, but I love all of them, great work Dr Pink Cake

Great humor, lovely visuals and interesting choices that feel like they matter but the best part is the character development (including female LIs, villains and male friends). Each character is so well flushed out, and real - even within a rather fantastic set of scenarios.

I laughed, I felt guilty, I wanted to bite off more than I could chew. Also, enjoyable erotic scenes; Not simply smut but scenes that mattered more because of the context and great unique characters.

It is gold standard level, IMO.

This game reminds me American Pie movies, good comedy, funny jokes, little bit of romance, and only priceless memories. That guy, PinkCake, is a genius, for sure.
I recommend you guys go and donate him on Patreon, we can't lose this developer.

i came in with skepticism, i came out as patreon.

at first, i dont understand why so many people gave positive comment on this game. in my first opinion, its so uncomplete as it is only v0.2.0. little do i know that this v0.2.0 is so fully packed with content and more immersive than most of the game that state (0.2) in their game . the content and amount of work put into v0.2.0 is more than enough for me to play 4-5 hours.

Many came into this industry for profit, but Dr pink Cake do it for passion.
Try it, you will not regret. if u like what u see, support them. Reward good developer, so we see better games in the future.

Really just an outstanding game. I was surprised by the writing and the story-line, a lot of thought and effort you can tell went into this. Great job, great story, characters, etc. Highly recommend this one.

Its a very good game. Your effort really shows itself due to the amazing story and characters. Characters are awesome and super hot. Everything is perfect i just can't wait for more. Mini-games are very well designed. Everything is greatly detailed. Romance is beautifully added more fun to the story.

Absolutely fantastic. I cannot list any negative points. Fantastic render, story and characters. And great gameplay. Fair enough this game between the all time best. I'm hooked. Looking forward for the next chapters.

I just want to say how much i love this game and his other work. They're porn games, with lewd scenes but not one was i inclined to beat my meat playing this game and acting lessons. The renders are amazing, the women are beautiful and have their own personality along with being developed.

The lewd scenes 10/10 they are amazing, one of the best ive seen.

The story and gameplay elements 12/10. Like I said I didnt even touch my dick, the story was compelling, the DIK system is great, REALLY GOOD SETTING. (Ya know college, drugs, sex etc) My character is always a CHICK lol.

Characters 10/10 Characters have good backstories, and you generally feel attached to them.

Usually I would write like 5/5 for renders and animations if that was the regular game but holy moly I never saw such detailed renders and good animations. he even took the care to put on wrinkles on a belly button piercing.
Its almost photo realistic sometimes, sweat and cum is something alot of games struggle as well but this fantastic aswell.

I really dont like the progression system tho but atleast with the cheat mod its no issue to play like a decent human being without fucking urself up too much

girls are hot af aswell (maya best waifu btw), story seems to be fine even tho its not my type of thing but its evolving aswell, if u wanna play a game with that theme this is it!

As a writer for a living i can honestly say you won't find alot of better story, or more believable characters or plot on this whole forum. (only 5 come to mind)
There is no blue balling as its common with DrPinkCake games and every scene or story element is either mean, cruel, sexy, romantic or funny for the right reasons.

Its not like you play a game but you watch a movie and can get involved with some choices and influence the plot. And boy can u influence here. You can influence to the point where the story branches out and you get to the point where the game got its name from. As the story slowly develops you will start becoming a dik when one after another backstabs you as it is common on college. How and why that happens is up to you but you won't see it coming either way. So get ready to become a dik.,

The humor is a 20/10

If i had to do a final verdict i would give this game an oscar and an emmy. Sadly its not up to me but if you are still reading download the game and play it.

Damn game has it all, my only complain would be the brawler minigame, i'll rather play ET on the atari 2600 than doing that, a choice to skip only that minigame would 10000000000000% increase the value of this game

Absolutely sublime. The characters are well written, and the plot is realistic. The story doesn't go easy on you, but this adds to the realism. And besides, you are still frequently rewarded with plenty juicy moments to enjoy. 10/10!

It's not even close to completed yet, but this is still one of the most polished h-games that I've played. And it's really refreshing to have something other than the same copy/paste models being used. Can't wait to see how it develops!

Let me hurry up this time and give the game the deserved 5 star rating before something gloomy happens that would prevent me to rate it, like in...another game form this dev . Seriously though, whatever happens later on, im prepared this time... and also, its the journey that matters, not the destination, they say... So yeah, 5/5, no matter what. Pffff, i did it.

I like how this is a game where you can't just fuck all the girls, your choices matter and will lead you to certain girls depending on your status through choices made. as a whole this game feels so relatable and realistic

each character is extremely unique with amazing graphics, I'm loving the storyline and vibe, I'm one of the few that actually enjoy the minigames except for the scrambler. There are fair amounts of twists and cliffhangers which keep you wanting more.

Simply stunning, this has the best renders I've seen in a sex game and the characters feel so real and diverse. The music and comedy really fits to give out this typical university vibe you'd see in movies and shows
