Bella would have found them on the car floor the very next time she used the car (the next morning most likely), put two and two together (and presumed that the mc fucked Cathy), put them in the glove box to confront the mc, and decided just how she wanted to confront him.

Given how Bella reacts over every tiny little slight, it's amazing she was so calm in that scene.

I'd love to see her reaction when she first discovered them and realised what happened. She probably went ape shit but then by the time she confronted the mc, she was back to her cold, calm, axe murderer composure...

One of the reasons I like the Bella character is her ‘strict’ character. I also like her sense of humour, which it always irritates me the MC doesn’t get. I think of her not as someone who is crazy, but as someone who is broken. Something happened, presumably with James, that meant she shut down her emotions as a defence mechanism, and she’s never truly dealt with the trauma.

That all said she can’t of discovered the panties until after she helps clean the MCs room. I think she was probably more angry with herself, that she knew she shouldn’t have ’cheated’. She was probably embarrassed that she’d let herself be vulnerable, that she’s taken a step she ‘knew’ she shouldn’t because no one is as ‘good’ as James.

In some ways the Cathy reaction is odd when she has essentially given permission for the MC to date Jill. I don’t think she’s surprised MC is having a relationship with someone else, more the judgment of the MC for carrying out that affair in her, another person he is intimate withs, car.

This first paragraph is probably the best summary of Bella's character that I have read. She's my favorite.

Right. DPC gleefully leaves a trail of candy that leads right up to the chopping block. Why thrust so many temptations upon players in a porn game if you're not hoping they will take the bait (so you can later pull the rug from underneath them)? Cathy's panties won't be the last.

I think it's because she didn't want to get her panties soaking wet. She wanted to go down on Fuckface's cudgel and knew she was going to be excited. She's not concerned about Bella's leather, which isn't thoughtful, but it's better than wet panties in her mind.

Edit: Also, I don't remember Cathy putting them in the glove box. I thought they were on the floorboard and Bella found them and put them in the glove box herself. I could be wrong because I haven't played that in a while.

Yes but Cathy's home is rather close, what does she care if her panties are wet for 5 more minutes? Would it really be more comfortable to have it running down her legs or pooling in her seat around the crack of her ass? I think it was just DPC's way of leaving tangible evidence for Bella.

Regarding the panties being on the floor or in the glove compartment, I also believe Cathy left them on the floor and that is where Bella found them. Bella is smart and it doesn't take a genius to figure out whose panties they were and what likely happened in the car. I think Bella moved them to the glove compartment so she could interrogate MC a little before dropping the bomb by telling him to look inside. She wanted to feel out the situation and see if MC would come clean or try to weasel his way out of it. I was disappointed that my massive DIK MC couldn't even come up with a really funny lie.

the scene in the car after the tennis match has one problem, that it has to be universal, it has to fit in every case, and of course it can't make it.

if MC is only interested in Bella but has succumbed to the temptation of Cathe... ok it's bitter and contrived, but it's ok, it makes sense
if MC is interested in both Bella and Jill it's cringe like few things.... Every Friday N7 posts the developer's status report from Patreon. If you click on N7's name, then click on his messages you'll see heaps of status updates for BaDIK. So while the development is taking a while, the developer is far from idol.

The very good news is, the next episode is only a few weeks away.

The bad news is after this episode (which will wrap up Season 2), it'll probably be 6 months before Season 3 begins with episode 9.

The scene in the car is universal, but it obviously varies depending on choice, if you’re after Bella and fool around with Cathy it gives you consequences. It’s a little irrational of her to say you have my permission to date my best friend, but not to fuck my other friend. But it does make some sense for her to react negatively to the surprise discovery of said friends underwear on the floor of her car.

then we are all traumatized in this world... and we are still talking about something that happened years before. it may be that Bella's behavior will be justified as the story goes on, but for now it is not, she behaves in a way that is absolutely out of the ordinary. with Bella every theory is valid, her story being a blank sheet of paper

Bella has objectively less space than the other LIs, and this space is made in the empty moments (or Jill's moments), it's up to her to help MC naked, otherwise she would have never talked to him, she invites Mc to dinner but for Jill.
when she goes to help MC fix up his room and especially stays there afterwards (after finding Cathe's 99% underwear) it is justified only by the fact that she wouldn't have had another chance in the story to do so

the fact that we always meet her when the scene is set in the library seems to me the least... it would be strange if the opposite were true.

it is normal that the scene in the car is different depending on how we played, the problem is that it does not work well in the same way in every scenario that has to face.
