I think he really needs a team, if continues to do work alone, the game will take huge amount of time to be done.If Pink wasn't an incredibly controlling dude, but would have just outsourced the beta testing of the game, polishing and preparing digital release in game stores to someone, we wouldn't have received 2 months of delay.
I'm sure he'll get to that one day. Just imagine how huge the game will become by the end of season 3. He will fix bugs and test for several months!
It's not about time, it's about load distribution. With each release, some aspects of the game will degrade. A person cannot do everything equally well, he is a person, not a machine. Pink has set the bar so high that his mistakes will be noticeable.I think he really needs a team, if continues to do work alone, the game will take huge amount of time to be done.
Didn't change your post, only shorted the the quotation. Also, I never called Tommy a genius. Why are you changing my post?
There is no need to scroll ALL the pages (BTW, i've set 100 posts a page, so i'm on 1925 pages), i started shortly before Interlude came out and read from there (still a big number of posts, took some time). So i have (a little bit) knowledge about how this thread works and doing easy with the different very active users here in this thread. This is my way to have fun while waiting for the new Ep (which will take some time to release), if you decide to catch up the older posts you will enjoy the different discussions for the same amount as you will enjoy BaDIK.Well my bad but I aint gonna scroll through over 9600+ pages, its just easier to write up a question askig the active members of this thread. But thanks for the quick reply!
this is a low-level trap...I didn't expect it from you....Nah, pal. That's not how debate works. You made the assertion this isn't one. Back it up by providing evidence. You can say you don't like it, that's fine, but you're saying the story isn't good. So give them examples of games with good stories.
With a team, you can shorten some things but you (as the main dev) has to deal with different meanings of the team members. Doing this alone gives DPC the power to do it only his way, dealing with the increasing amount of work. With every Ep he has to take care of past events and storylines (even the dead ends he started) to develop the further way the game goes, with this amount of recurring characters, it takes time to not make mistakes which would interfere the game.I think he really needs a team, if continues to do work alone, the game will take huge amount of time to be done.
So true. It's also not good putting so much on yourself. Many Devs have had to put their games on hold because they get burned out. It's not about time, it's about load distribution. With each release, some aspects of the game will degrade. A person cannot do everything equally well, he is a person, not a machine. Pink has set the bar so high that his mistakes will be noticeable.
Firstly it’s generally thought that it isn’t an actual person but rather a mannequin. There was some speculation that James (Bella’s husband) was dead, and she moved his body around to keep her company, not wanting to admit he was gone. The latter theory has generally been written off on the grounds of smell, rotting corpses don’t smell good.question im replaying the game on Steam and I'm at the part where MC got shitfaced drunk and went to meet Bella for their "date" but took him home instead because of his drunk state so im in her one-room in the small library and when MC was about to leave he seen a soldier in the corner who is that?
As i remember, someone stated the theory, that Stephen snuck in that night in Bella's house to get his + ("Isabella again ...") and the drunk MC noticed him but didn't recognized him correctly. But as said, this was only a theory, there was no evidence it happened.Firstly it’s generally thought that it isn’t an actual person but rather a mannequin. So that gives us the mannequin idea. Some have said it’s just MC‘s imagination, except we know it’s real since the same boots can be seen under the door of Bella’s locked room. So why a mannequin, with either army or hunting fatigues? Well that’s were we enter the realm of speculation.
Seems plausible she kept the mannequin around for a similar reason to the body theory. She wanted to feel James’ company, however I don’t think this is necessary. In the room is also a large picture frame, on the floor facing the wall. Could this be a family photo? like the other smaller ones that have been faced down? The mannequin just becomes a object that was in the room that Bella hadn’t moved.
Maybe James and Bella had a kid (the yoga room upstairs could have been it's room), but i don't think so cause Bella wouldn't have changed the room due to having memories (even when they are sad). Something happened between Bella and James (most likely by James fault) cause she said, she has forgiven him, maybe he had an affair and left cause of this. Bella wants him to return, so i don't think he's dead (or he is but she don't know), having his blood stain in the locked room would imply, she knows. So why the army or hunting fatigues. Well again we get into full poorly educated guess work. Could Bella’s tragedy be a dead husband or child. We think James is alive because Bella says something like she has forgiven him and it’s time to come home, however, she knows he can’t. So that brings the dead child idea, minimal evidence for a child, basically just some stacks of kids books on her upstairs book shelves.
One other thing to note is the wonky cabinet in Bella’s living room. I think this is covering a blood stain. Bella isn’t the type to have an arbitrary cabinet 45 degrees from the wall for no reason.
So now the actual theories;
A bit more broadly I’d say tragedy at Bella’s, she is emotionally scarred the mannequin is a reminder of Jame’s. How that ties into the specifics of what happened I doubt we’ll find out for a while yet.
- James killed himself, or tried to, possibly PTSD from being in the army. (Evidence wonky cabinet, army fatigues)
- James and Bella’s kid killed him/herself with James’ gun. (Evidence Wonky cabinet, kids books, James’ forgiven but can’t come back, army/ hunting fatigues)
Just because it's much shorter than the actual one...Haha, I almost added "not that he needed to do anything in the first place". But then again, Indie didn't know that until the end, the same as the viewers, so we still felt the urgency of his actions.
Not that it's hard, but can you guess the source material for the other examples?

Yes I remeber that theory popping up. I think that is more likely to come down to DPC cheaping out on the number of male models he purchased. Could be wrong, that would be a fun twist. As i remember, someone stated the theory, that Stephen snuck in that night in Bella's house to get his + ("Isabella again ...") and the drunk MC noticed him but didn't recognized him correctly. I think she say's she wants him to retun but knows he can't. I don't think James is dead, mainly because it's such a easy avenue for drama. The nursery could be the locked room. A little odd on different floors, but not impossible.Maybe James and Bella had a kid (the yoga room upstairs could have been it's room), but i don't think so cause Bella wouldn't have changed the room due to having memories (even when they are sad). I know it's a silly theory, but I personally wouldn't mind this. It would play into the college comedy angle, we're expecting some big melodramatic reveal from the room and it just turns up Bella has a bunch of fucked up sex toys in there. I don't think there is much chance of this.[/QUOTE]<dalli_x mode>
I assume, thinking of the picture looking unter the door, there could be some kind of SM equipment in the room, maybe she has some (hidden) affection to that kind of fun. This would match the DnG Ice Queen setting.

Haaaave you met sixart's signature? And android ports are gone now...
I didn't know Dalli_x was allowed to have two accounts on this forum.I think Bella loved to have group sex with blacks and James was a cuckold who looked at all this and jerked off. But at some point everything got out of control, James decided to participate, but Jacob didn't like it, he hit him and James started bleeding. He ran away, but Bella was outraged by him and is waiting for his return to arrange cuckold scenes again, but this time with MС, Jacob and Derek. Jill also participated in these scenes, but was not deprived of her virginity (only anally).
for me it was almost the opposite, until the fourth chapter the interactions with Bella were annoying, always bordering on abusive. but then the fourth chapter spent at her home gave the story an acceptable starting point.so when I first picked the game up I remember being really focused on Bella and really interested in her story but for some reason, I think by the 5th or 6th episode it started to fall to the wayside for me. Like it became "I need to keep wearing her down more and more until she gives in and it didnt feel as natural to me as the other relationships had, I mean she was/is married and its obvious she's still hung up on her husband (status of life unknown) until of course your romance her enough.
so I dunno at the end of episode 8 it was interesting but until the reasons of the husbands leaving is addressed and we get a bit more of closure I'm sidelining the Bella plot.
also I was wondering, has anyone tried to do a minimal sex/being just friends playthrough? with Zoey coming in the next episodes I wanted to have a long lost love/ reunited playthrough in the event romancing Zoey can happen.
