BADIK remains a benchmark for me in many ways, including episode 11. This VN brings together everything you could possibly love, and it's built over time. Expect to have to make choices and complete multiple paths. It's not about rushing into things and trying to date as many girls as possible.
The entire structure of this story, the narrative threads, is built with this in mind, including roaming, which aims to force players to pay attention to the texts, the locations, and so on.
You can't help but be drawn into the stories, overwhelmed, and immersed by the music. Expect emotional crises.
DPC is the master of this and manages to move us from tears to laughter; it's impressively masterful.
The originals are incredibly engaging.
I'm still giving it a 15/10 because it's well-deserved, given the enormous amount of work that went into it.
Episode 11 is good (but short) with a rather enjoyable, different narrative structure. The work is still there, but it's a little below the other episodes.
I think the Maya/Josy scene is too BDSM-oriented; it doesn't allow for a simple vanilla experience. Deliberately unbalancing the trio is a huge shock, given that we've spent years balancing it, and the current situation allows for a simple moment of happiness. Indeed, drama also allows for well-being, not just drama or failure.
Finally, the wait time is far too long and can't avoid the frustration that's becoming inevitable among a community of fans of this VN.
I supported DPC for a long time; I'll continue to do so via Steam, but no longer on Patreon. Investment, yes, but in some ways, this investment would also deserve an investment from DPC to expand its team and allow for faster updates for this true masterpiece that is BADIK!
Long live Maya, Josy, Sage, Jill, Bella, Quinn and Zoey!
