Since this is just a free roam im guessing it should be different, but does anyone remember how long it took for the fan walkthrough to come out for ep 8?

I didn't pay too much attention to it since it doesn't seem like it has any effect on whoever you chose to win, at least not now.
In Jill path, i chose obviously Jill because she is my girl.
In Isabela path, i wanted to chose Isabela because she said i have to chose someone else instead of her so i chose Elena, but she doesn't win.
In Sage path, i chose Zoey because her costume is the best one.
In Others/Quinn path, i chose Lilly because yes.
I agree that it's silly how limited your options are for nominating people. Like, you can't even nominate Leon, despite that being part of the biggest running gag of the episode. I'd kind of understand that if you can't nominate any guys, but you can nominate John Boy to embarrass him, which is totally random.The "irony" is that when she's a lame banana MC can make her win the competition, but when she's a bee MC can't choose her. Oh well
My opinion: Zoey, Jill as a bee and Bianca have got the best costumes. Hottest ass: Bianca
But yeah: Derek's ass-less astronaut, Bella in the Hell Week mask and regular clothes, "racist" "ninja", girl in a sheet with eyes drawn on, guy with the costume on a stick, fat Santa... so much potential comedy just left on the table.
Going by game script:
* if you pick Derek, John Boy, Elena, Sarah, Melanie or Nicole then Leon wins
* otherwise the win goes to the person you've picked

I did it on one of my runs, but I cannot remember now which. I'm going to play around with it some more today, so I'll report back if I can duplicate it.

i loved the mansion mini-game. i hate the party planning mini-game..

I think all MG's routes fit their characters. Banana Jill plays well into Silly Jilly and the faces she pulls. Stopping the walk of shame for her is definitely a nice romantic bow on that route and doesn't feel like a coddling thing as some may suggest. I'm wondering what the focus on Rusty's reaction will mean in the future. I agree that outside her path, there's probably going to be a push from Bianca for her to get out of her shell.Generally I agree with most of your summary and with most of what you wrote in your lengthy post.

Sage is definitely the most emotionally unavailable, but she's stated multiple times she's not good with emotions. The family issue definitely felt forced, but DPC does have the MC overthink/overreact to stuff a bunch so it's still unfortunately in character.
Maya and Josy and Bella had some relationship developments. They're also the most complex relationships so their endings of this episode are both funny and dramatic with the revelations. Tommy drama or Nick who can't keep a secret will be interesting.
For Others, Quinn's broccoli relationship is definitely turning sweet. Looking forward to Rio and Nicole being open to more. I'm wondering and hoping about Lily because it kinda seems like she's falling even as she's telling him not to. The pacing of Zoey's reconnection felt right. She knows she hurt him and it'll take awhile for them to get back to the good old days of even being just friends.
Main story wise regardless of LIs, character bonding scenes were funny. Quinn and Tommy's rooftop talk was done well. So while I can see why some may have been disappointed with the update I overall enjoyed it, but I also don't have mini-games enabled.
