I actually like that it was added to the game. Personal reasons being:
1. Tests the MC's commitment.
2. MC should not be able to control other peoples behaviors, rumors, gossip and consequences.
3. It overall allows for the MC's character to develop more and in turn, create more content/options.

one of my huge concerns. i hope the developer doesn't pull this kind of total fuck up again. say what you want about how great being a dik is and what kind a future it could have over years to come... acting lessons told me personally, to be very carefully with DPC, and how he treats his fans.

I hope he does pull an AL tbh. Not to spoil for anyone who possibly hasn't played it, but THAT person was presented as a psycho from the start, all the foreshadowing was there. No one just thought that someone would do it in a adult VN/"porn game".
I am expecting there to be a 180 moment in this game, personally I'm betting on it being related to Bella.

I never understood how AL's end was a FU to the fans.
