I honestly don't remember if there is a specific moment when MC decides to hang that photo, but it seems not.

He finds it after reading Lynette's diary the last time (universal for all players) and then sees that photo again in the finale with Jill in the eighth chapter

You can make immature choices and still be a good person. So I've always considered the CHICK/DIK scale less as a morality scale and more of a maturity scale. CHICK involves more mature decisions, consideration, thoughtfulness, respectfulness while the DIK choices are less mature and more brash. At least that's the way I see it.

I think that final Zoey decision encompassed that pretty well. Zoey decided to be the bigger person and defuse Emma even though she went full psycho. I don't think that made her a doormat. I think it was the opposite.

Besides, I think DPC anticipated that people would want things to be kept simple with shaping Zoey. You can tell that shit by the people who want to sKiP ThE FeMaLe PrOtaGoNiSt and complain about how you can't skip it right away (without realizing you can skip it after at least one playthrough). So even if it were 10 decisions that define her as CHICK or DIK, it doesn't really matter. People skipping the interlude will pick the same options for Zoey every time to make her either CHICK or DIK, so why not keep that shit simple. One major choice is fine by me for a skippable interlude.

Do you know what happens if from the second walkthrough you skip the interlude? The game uses the same stats created by ourselves the first time or generate a DIK/CHICK Zoey randomly?

Yep sadly it took that direction when i think the game is two seasons from ending :| now i the plot of the game will be seccondary and the exsesive amounts of saves you will need to have just to get one scene. I mean dont mind having more than one saves and that number becomes exagerated at the end but not when you are half way throught it.

Some ideas of costume foreshadowing. Some of these I think are a bit more plausible than others.

Tommy Vampire - Tommy is living dead. He’s going to die (and possibly be resurrected)

Heather Lifeguard - Heather will save someones life, possibly Tommy.

Quinn Succubus - Fucking her will lead to MCs death (I’d be pretty annoyed if anyone dies in this game given the theme, especially the MC, but it does also tie into the threesome costumes with Sage, Quinn as a skeleton)

Bella Mummy - Bella is (was) a Mommy.

Maya & Josy Fairies - The idea of a successfully thurpple is a fantasy

Sage Slutty School girl - Lost innocence when the truth about her mother, father and sorority comes out.

Elena and JB Cowboys - they’re the ones who will report things to the cops, or possibly they’ll act as the moral guides for the MC

Zoey the demon - going to interfere in MCs happiness

Jill the banana - easy to slip up on her path

Jill the Bee - will be part of ‘sting’ against the MC

Rusty the Jester - Rusty is the ‘sad clown’ might commit suicide.

Sarah and Mel are Bunnies - Their only purpose in the game is to fuck. A lot.

Anyone got any other ideas/ theories on what the costumes might mean?

Well i think that some of you give waaaay to much credit to dcp as a writer, while what you say here would be a genius move from dpc if it were true and those costumes would mean something later in the story but yeah, no...

What does MC say to Quinn in ep9 if he was in a relationship with her but chose Bella iso others? I saw that if he chose Sage, he tells actually tells Quinn that but I assume he keeps Bella's name a secret?
Edit: I used Universal Renpy mod and saw that MC only tells Quinn a name on Sage's path.

I think to force commitment on all paths in ep8 was bad, the relationships weren't on the same level.

For Jill it makes sense at that point.
M/J maybe.
For Sage it's too soon, she is just out of her former relationship, they didn't even have a date yet.
Same for Bella, they should have some time to explore their relationship, see if it even works...ah, and that one little elephant about her husband should obviously be adressed before any commitment.

As for the Others, i hope the current end of ep9 isn't locking you out of any path just yet...

Depends, only if you are going the Quinn route maybe atm.
For me the OTHERS route is more of the same from 1-8, where you get to explore options and maybe get original LI's in a different way later on. Same goes for picking a relationship, you can still be a DIK and cheat the LI.
The game doesn't lock you per se with being a man whore. Only real hard lock so far is Jill/Quinn.
And for the moment, just the main girls are locked, which makes sense due to being in a relationship with one of them.

Imo, the split happening at around chapter 10 makes sense to me, since the game will focus on fallouts of said romances(can a threesome be maintained, breaking them up, Bella's Ex, Josy's dad, MC's background and Jills). With getting a relationship out of the way now, the game gets to focus more on the main plot. Which I honestly prefer over 5 more chapters of dating.

I'm ok with things as they are, and would prefer things to move forward and not stay the same. 2 Seasons of dating is enough for me tbh.

This is of course, my personal preference/opinion. Too each is own of course

Good! Because in my game Zoey is CHICK, that's a quick way to change her personality. Anyway I have to replay the interlude because I found it impossible to open the vault and have to read the answer here, was too used to find the green numbers inside the free roams that the book of the interlude made me go mad, I would never have figured it out with those clues knowing nothing about poetry/verse .

If you go Jill route, early on you are hard locked out of Quinn content/possible future LI.
I believe Jill/Quinn is the earliest lock in the game.
