I've never played Josy & Maya's route so I hadn't thought about it that way, it makes sense... But it shouldn't happen if the player is in Sage's route... Sage doesn't seem to like it very much when Maya says that her first kiss with a guy was with the MC.

Good point. Vinny didn't get the safe open, you can see that clearly. Furthermore, it's a camera and not a microphone, so if the angle sucks, Vinny couldn't see the new safe combination. Or, Vinny doesn't know about the cameras or there really is only the one camera in Derek's room.

Call me crazy, but my guess is Magnar. Derek left Sally alone in his bar/room... Sally is Magnar's girlfriend... Magnar is never represented in the games he invites the MC to play in the library (would that be a foreshadowing?) since he occupies the role of the Game Master (the one who gives the orders).

Magnar and the nerds always lived in the library? I don't think so... I believe the DIK mansion was, in the past, the house where the nerds lived. With the arrival of Rusty everything changed, Rusty decided to create the DIK fraternity and used his name and influence to occupy the mansion that previously belonged to the nerds.

Didn't anyone ever find it weird how much the mansion had a bit of a nerdy vibe at the beginning? The MC's own room is a fucking library. Fans are underestimating Magnar - B&R's greatest mastermind.

Seriously though, nerds are poor and don't have the money to maintain their mansion, most likely this place was something like a place for students' cultural recreation. For those who do not like noisy parties and stuff. This library, the old furniture, the calm design... or it was a literature club.
They could hang out there, but not much else, until the place was taken over by DIK's. And Magnar has no motivation to do this, no evidence, although... "How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?"

the discovery of Tommy is unlikely to advance the story, the general one. the relationship with Maya and Josy is a confidential matter but not a secret (Derek, John boy and Elena in fact already knew and the 3 of the trouple did not do much to hide in general, and at this point not only Tommy, but almost all the DIKs "know"), so that sooner or later it would become known at least within the circle of friends is inevitable.

Josy didn't tell Sage to fuck the MC in EP7 either. In principle, Maya does the same thing in EP9. There is a simple reason for this. This all happens before the MC tells Josy and Maya so he wants to be exclusive with them. Josy and Maya just don't want to mess up the MC's tour at Sage in case he doesn't choose to throuple.
