Soo random thought, what do you guys think will be the biggest episode of the game will be? I reckon Ep 13 (titled The 13th day/13 reasons why?), cause that's when all the shit will go down (including any death)

DPC has been doing a lot of things in the previous episodes I dont agree with:

- choosing a path so soon at this stage of the story closing a shit ton of options even more. (I am not doing multiple runs of this massive game)
- the girls you refuse don't fight back (except Jill, I think)
- the whole disaster that has been Maya & Josy since episode 4
- a whole episode dedicated to a pretty lackluster party in terms of plot (except Vinny being a douche)
- the lack of drama at Burke's and you cant break up with Jade nicely
- that extra Prelude episode that could EASILY be in episode 9 in a shorter form
- intresting mini-game but I wonder how much can DPC balance parties at the DIKs and storyline.

What gives me hope:

- cheating points, but we'll see how it ends up working
- opening paths might be possible

What Nat said, she is still quite loved, specially on DPC's discord. She's a little less represented here due to F95 usually allowing more honest debates and criticism, where as on the discord server if you say that the sky is shallow ocean blue instead of sky blue, you eat a ban

On a less funny note, most, myself included liked her too. I still play her route and do enjoy parts of it, but for most Episode 6 is what nudged her route into dislike territory.
Since most morally pick to help a friend in need(Sage) and say fuck the picnic, yet the picnic is a crucial part for the Jill route. A lot of people went with the route: If helping a friend is a DIK move, so be it.

Also the frozen wieners jokes are just gold and people take that over the picnic anyday.

At the end of the day, I can say for myself, and probaby a few others. We don't mind Jill so much as a character, but the ways DPC wrote her into a few corners. I for one loved Banana Jill, I genuinely laughed at that.

But DPC has been kind of making choices that make people dislike the Jill route and the MJ route too. But it's not like most hate the characters, just what is being done with them. If that makes any sense?

Let's say MC is Burgmeister, because Neil and Rusty are looks very similar. Or Derek and John Boy are brothers for the same reason.

The point is not so that they are the same basic models, but why DPC chose these similar basic models. Even the basic models can be changed with sliders and morphs so that they have no resemblance to each other.

Yeah, I'm tempted to do a CHICK run where MC still bangs Jade and uses Quinn's restaurant where he fucks Sarah in the closet, and does drugs, just so I'll have a run prepared for the hilarious fallout where all of the CHICK love interests are confronted with their goody two shoes BF banging hookers and doing drugs.

Seriously, think about all the weird fucking interactions that have to be taken into account for pivotal canonical events in the game, no wonder this shit takes 9 months to create when you have 100 different tiny variables that need unique dialogue depending on how they all interact with each other.

Accepting the restaurant deal and using the services will change your affinity towards Dik...
It will be very hard to get a Chick run doing all those things....

You write so that with 100 different tiny variables it is no wonder that an EP takes 9 months to complete.

DPC wrote once so that he has thousands of variables to check in the game. So that he creates variables but doesn't use them again until later EPs. By the way, he wrote that while creating EP9. Your comparison is not correct.

Example:
It's in the official walkthrough of EP2. I already pointed out, before I read this, in a theory so that stealing money could be punished.

"The money you find in Jill’s room counts as stolen money and may come into effect later in the game. The money in Tybalt’s room you can take if you want."

Oddly enough, there is a bank robber in EP9. There is this hint only once, but in the game, you can find money everywhere. My MC doesn't steal money. But you can assume that DPC will punish money stealing.

The number of 100 was figurative, meant to emphasize the point I was trying to make, but yes, it is actually worse than in my figurative example.

Your logic has a catch. Already in EP2, Tybalt wanted to talk to Jill about the concert. At that time, everything was still fine between Tybalt and Jill and she had no reason to lie to Tybalt. Ergo, the date for the concert was scheduled for spring.

It wasn't until EP7 that it was said.
"Like it will be in the spring?"
Jill: *uncertainly* "Yes."

Things were never "fine" between Tybalt and Jill. He was always an ass, and she never liked him. She was just being nice. So she didn't tell him the right date for the concert for the same reason a girl would give a guy a fake phone number - she doesn't want him there. Jill never actually liked Tybalt, not even as a friend. She was just being nice. Which was a mistake on her part, but she is inexperienced and naive.
