So we see exactly what Maya would do if Josy wasn't in the story, because up until Josy turns up at B&R that was Maya's situation.

Therefore we can say with 100% certainty that Maya would do if she had broken up with Josy (or any random girl) before she arrived at B&R and therefore was a single lesbian. That's how she sees herself by the time she asks Fuckface to do the list, so if that was her actual situation she would pledge for the HOTs and give Quinn the evidence with which Quinn can then blackmail her into being on the restaurant menu. That's not conjecture, it's simply fact, yet you've decided despite the story showing us what would have happened that something else would happen.

I would say we have seen Josy without Maya just not at BR. Josy would fully be with MC, its what she wants. Maya without Josy does like MC but seems like it would take longer to get there

Removing Josy from the current story doesn't stop Maya being a lesbian, doesn't stop her having a relationship with a girl that her father found out about. It could have been Josy, only she's not the girl Fuckface met while working in the summer and she doesn't get into college, everything plays out the same as it did until Josy arrived at B&R. It could have been a girl we never see that Maya broke up with when her father found out, again doesn't change anything in the story before Josy arrives. What you are saying is that if Maya doesn't meet Josy, or indeed only if Fuckface doesn't meet Josy, then Maya doesn't know she's a lesbian and doesn't date a girl. Do you actually realise how ridiculous that claim is?

The only reason Maya and Josy are together is MC if he did not act like a little bitch when Josy showed up Josy would had broke-up with Maya and she clearly wanted to but because of what MC did she stayed with Maya because she didn't know what else to do out of fear she with Maya. Josy and Maya have no real relationship with each other it is all MC. That is why they will breakup by the end of 3 season.
