I guess different strokes for different folks (pun intended). I still enjoy parts of the game - and the lewds are great. But there is no way I can play it without the mod - I hate-hate mini-games and puzzles - they seem pointless and mind numbing. The "free roam" was kind of fun - once - but now really tiresome. The house layout makes no sense - and the fast move menu doesn't have all the locations on it or show where the NPCs are. Even MC's own beroom room makes no sense and I forgot in the time between updates that there were multiple areas in the room which hung me up in Ep 10. The hints in the "Tasks" app are somewhat helpful - when they tell you where to find someone - but inconsistent and not most of the time. I don't have the patience for more than one play through - so I picked Sage and played that through Ep 10 - with mini games off and cheating every puzzle. The story was fun initially but has gotten super soap opera - and way too complicated to keep in your head. And now that you are down to one LI its pretty much VN and kind of boring. I use the gallery unlocer to see what I missed on the other routes - looks like I might want to play the Maya Josey throughple, and it would be fun to go all out with Mighty Quinn (I don't even know which route that is possible on) - but like I said - the thought of going throgh the damn halloween party 10,000 steps again just leaves me exhausted. A redemption route for Quinn would be fun to see - but it doesn't look like that is in the cards. As many others have said - the little choices that bight you many episodes alter are frustrating. The mod is great in that it allows you to zip through things like decoding puzzles. Thank you Scrappy for that. Anyway my $0.02 and worth everything you paid for it.

First of all, it is possible to turn off the mini-games. Secondly, the game is designed for an audience that doesn't click through the pictures to finally get to the naked skin. And in a game like this, where decisions and a points system decide which route you are on and which scenes you see, I can only advise against mods/cheats. In the end you will experience even more chaos than with the game itself. There are very good walkthroughs that allow you to easily stay on your chosen route. In a few days he will definitely get an update for the current chapter.

If the game is so overwhelming, you shouldn't play it.

You gave somebody a screen how to solve the partyplanning with using a savegame editor, endless money and extra perks ... which, btw, cause errors too in the past, just so you are aware. Its not only mods causing errors.

I don't know all ramifications, but for instance you can't flirt and do lewd things to chicks at Halloween party if you have a chick affinity.

And you cannot punch the dork harassing Josy. Don't know if this will have ramifications in the future.

About flirting and touching girls at the party it increases your cheat points... Which are likely to explode in your arse in the future unless you are on a pure "alone" branch.

Anyway... Grabbing those asses is worth a cheat

the patch is for those who already have the game installed until episode 9 and dont want to download the entire thing again.

Ok seriously am I the only one struggling with the brawler mini game now? The timer is soo short its like they expect us to be flash and im playing on normal. Before it was easy but now by the time my eyes scan the options to choose your opponent is beating ur ass into oblivion.

I've used "modded" in the general sense of "modified", not necessarily with dedicated mods, but through console commands and/or file edits as well. So, yeah. That solution effectively required the player to have game state not obtainable by normal means.

Unfortunately, the music section doesn't open at all. Not even in the main menu. IT gives some coding 'not found' error

and who prevents him from cheating, if you want to use cheats use them no one is going to tell you anything and I haven't had any errors yet because I know where to put the limits of the variables I modify.

DPC always said that being a dik will not get THAT dark.

Being a dik has already some pretty dark approaches, and episode 10 is more or less the "darkest" so far... but NOTHING even near Acting Lesson. And it will not get there either.

I dont think that everything will end on a peachy cloud. But he will not pull a Acting Lesson thing again... i would even say, its pretty much ruled out that somebody "important" will die along the way.

Well... excpet one maybe. I dont know exactly if its valid, but to me it felt like the MC is telling a story from "the past" like looking back on his life. Especially if you read the very first line of the game i get serious "American Beauty" vibes. Could very well be that maybe the MC is dead? Which dont have to be a "dark" thing... that depends on how you approach such thing...

But yeah thats just a little gut feeling.

Overall, DPC made it very clear the being a dik will not get that dark as AL and should considered overall as a "fun" game. But yeah... for a "fun" game he is seriously touching some heavy things, thats for sure.
