OK I have a question regarding the theory about Jacob being the traitor. If you convince Derek to not fuck Arieth with him, what leverage would he have for trying to pin the blame on MC for sending the pictures to the jocks? Not to mention there's no way MC could have taken the pictures of the others fucking her, he was barely a pledge at that point. I don't think the traitor could be Jacob cuz from a point that'd intersect with any and all choices previously made, but you know who I'm most sus of, besides Nick?

That scumsucker has plenty of reason to hate you in every route, moreso if you're a sisterfucker. Think about it. New blood comes in and starts "taking control". He leads the restoration project, wants them to volunteer at the elderly house, convinces Rusty to stop relying on his father's money and actually become a reliable leader instead of a party fiend, etc. Not to mention, Tommy could potentially show flagrant disregard to the DIK secrecy code, both with Derek's video and your own calling of it over your relationship with Maya and Josy and Tommy ignored it immediately, unlike Nick who seems to have kept his mouth shut over seeing Bella leave in the morning.

Again, I'm not a smart lad or nothing, this is just me spitballing. I know there's probably holes in my theory, but it's no worse than "Jacob is always there and a nice guy and no one is that nice" or "The laptop was in the library, Nick is found in the library so why didn't he find the laptop, also he's Vinny's DIK brother so he could be an insider" etc and so on. Lemme know y'alls thoughts on this.

Edit: I'm not sure which decision in the past leads to this exactly, I just guess that the first impression back then may be the factor if he mistrusts you and checks for the key or if he didn't check so you can turn around and go back for the documents. But on my 7 paths I ended like 4 times with the documents and 3 times without them at the end.

Here's a guide how to successfully steal Maya's contract from Patrick:
You can have up to 6 ep10_patrick_penalty points to be able to steal it. If you exceed that number, you WILL fail.
Here's a list of things that yield you those points:

1)Telling Josy about about Chad at the beginning of Episode 8 += 1 point.

2)Failing to hide from Patrick during freeroam += 3 points.

3)Choosing "He lets me be me" option when you're asked what you're thankful for at the table +=1 point. Afterwards, picking "Rub it in" +=1 point.

4)
a)Punching him when he physically abuses Maya += 5 points;
b)Confronting him += 3 points;
c)Chick option doesn't yield any points.

5)This is gonna be a pain in the ass to explain. It depends on your behavior during Patrick's visit to Maya's dorm in Episode 7.

c)If you were polite with him and didn't pick "cheap sheets" option +1 = point;

• Jill path - why did MC not mention anything about the pic of his mom in front of Royce house either to Jill or during lunch with her parents??? He had plenty of opportunities there, quite frustrating that it was not addressed so far.

You can click both pictures and he is talking about them... but doesnt see the house or what? Sure... its just a house like every other too or what?

I'm split between my current solo Maya route and Zoey. Jill and Sage are neck and neck for me, the throuple route isn't really for me, I've sort of moved on from Josy since the 4th episode, but I really enjoyed this episode, gave me a real flashback to the early episodes, where it was more development with the characters than mindless sex.

I thought Isabella's route would be the romantic type, but it looks like it will be the depressive type. Bella is totally conflicted about her feelings.

• She clearly lied to the MC about her looking at the handbook. The question is: Why? She was the one who didn't want to continue dating the MC depending on the rules in B&R.

• When mentioning James and telling MC about her marriage for the first time, Bella confessed that she doesn't know what MC is to her... All she knows is that MC makes her feel things she's never felt, and then she practically begs the MC to 'stay with her'.

• If she lied about the handbook because she was desperate for fear of losing the MC (the air that prevents her from drowning in a black abyss as she said) we better hope the flashback in Ep.9 isn't a flash forward to the episode from Christmas. If the silhouette belongs to Maya's father and that blood (or wine) belongs to the MC, Bella will have a worse psychotic episode than when James 'left'.

Although, Bella didn't really lie to MC, she "omited" the truth more like, if you play Nora's path she actually answers the question


So technically it's okay for MC and Bella to date, it's just that according to the rulebook they'd have to make their relationship public and apparently she isn't ready for that yet, but as you said, she realized she needs MC so she doesn't want to end their relationship either and decides to hide it instead.
My best guess is that she's afraid MC would get upset that there's a "legal" way for them to date but Bella chooses the "illegal" way instead. But for MC in EP8, legal or not, for him it was just a matter of hiding the relationship, I'm sure he'd understand Bella and respect her wish if she told him the truth, so I don't really understand why DPC wrote this plotline this way tbh.

Moving on, what did you expect her to say about James? In earlier episodes she clearly still has some hope James might come back one day, she probably still loves him, do you really expect her to give up on her old life that she's been hopelessly hanging on for 3 years, as soon as she meets a man whom she grows feelings for?
Put things into perspective, by the time she and MC have that talk they have met around 3 months ago and started truly dating (not fooling around) about 1 month ago. Her marriage with James was probably a decade old or more by the time he left.
All she knows is that MC gave her hope and a resemblance of happiness for the first time in 3 years, for now that seems enough.

All in all I think we should just be happy that she finally opened up a bit and was honest about James with MC, that by itself is a huge step forward and shows how much she cares about MC already.

As for the dinner, your guess is as good as mine.

And it's not all doom and gloom for her branch, c'mon, it's quite romantic as well, did you play the same episode as me? Their date is super funny, almost every line that woman said can be turned into a meme. And their relationship looks wholesome and natural, something I thought was going to be quite hard to pull off considering the woman we saw in earlier episodes.

Oh, and the details, pay attention to the details, they're adorable

He's spreading it to harm MC's rep regardless, and in the long run hopes the social stigmatization of him might cause Josy to break it off to escape being caught in the crossfire(so he hopes).

You need to be on Others path, not in a relationship with main LIs. During a couple of free roams you will get a text from Madame.

I think, in her case, she's pissed because no DIK ever wanted to bang her. See our dearest MC for instance... Except for the Feminazis, I think Beth is the only girl the MC never hit, never talked (except for taking a shower of beer), never had any meaningful interaction.

I think the game will end with Beth killing everybody and kidnapping the MC to another dimension. Like this:

That theory made sense before this episode, I thought they might be cousins. But now when MC meets Jill's parents, while giving tour of the house to MC, Jill's dad says they bought the house 19 years ago (and also something about the circumstances why the previous owners sold it). So Lynette's family sold it around the same time when she died and Jill and MC are not related.
