I like the idea of the mini-games being turned on or off. Though "off" doesn't seem to apply as... coherently as it should as there are still a few that slip through.
I'm also not a fan of the point and click. However, the dev does avoid repeat scenes and grind (I guess with mini-games turned off) and that is a huge plus. I'm not a big fan of grind, it has to be done a certain way to be fun (like gameplay to raise stats in an RPG) and most devs don't get it right. It's why I got tired of World of Warcraft - the same dungeons over and over again, the same raids. That's not fun, for my tastes.
