You're wrong. Josy was not ready to drop Maya. EP4 clearly states that they both had a plan. Both Josy and Maya. Josy and Maya wanted to be together in secret. What does Josy say when she urgently needs to go to the bathroom in EP4? Shit nothing works like she imagined.

I'm scratching Josy perfection now. What didn't work out that Josy wanted? What does Josy want? Josy wants Maya and the MC, both of them. You can't deny that because Josy said it herself and not just once. Josy knows what a "beard" agreement is, you can't deny that either because she told the MC in EP8, not the MC told Josy. Maya and Derek didn't know what "beard" meant in EP10 either.

And here's the kicker. It wasn't about the MC being the "Beard" for one person, it was much more about him being the "Beard" for Josy and Maya's unofficial and secret relationship, or maybe even becoming one if played right. Where is that hidden? In the solo paths of Josy and Maya.

We see the same thing with Sage. If Chad wasn't in an unofficial relationship with Troy, then Sage would have been the Beard for Chad. The Beard would be tied to people. But it's not. Sage served Chad and Troy so that they could keep their unofficial relationship a secret.

You just have to replace Sage with the MC, Josy with Chad, and Maya with Troy.

I can very well see DPC turning the tables on them after AL's shitstorm. Either the MC is fully in the three-way relationship or, the MC will end up without Josy and Maya.

Of course, Josy and Maya also had good times in the past. For example, before Patrick knew about their relationship, because then came the problems. But they still stayed together.

That's not necessarily true. I know that it is a widely held belief here on the forum but there isn't any indication in dialogue that would confirm it. Josy seems to have completely reconciled with Maya after arriving at B&R, and there's nothing in her tearful dialogue with MC in ep5 that would indicate that she was prepared to leave Maya for MC. Just look at the (unbelievable) way that Maya and Josy forgive one another after the library revelations.

Josy Was ready to move to her mother and start a fresh life, because she was not accepted to B&R. Josy and Maya, relationship was at rock bottom, despite Maya try to focus geting money from a bunch of Whores - exuse me, sluts - her word ..

Josy and Maya while did reunite, their relationship never remain what it was before , and without MC being there as the glue, , they struggling, and basically are in an unhealthy unhappy relationship. That isn't true thought, Josy "what are we going to do" seems pretty clear to me what she wants, also it is false to say they have completely reconciled things still are not good with them even on throuple "things are better but things don't just get good we still have a lot of work to do". the point is DPC has problem writing characters he doesn't like, and he doesn't know what to do with them. Josy sadly getting a Jill treatment, becasue of the whole Maya story, where he doesn't know how to not make her look bad ,by abandoning Maya.
we can say Josy , stay with her do to their past, and may be because of empathy and sympathy because she has extended knowledge about her situation with her mom, and dad and etc.

but he failed to deliver this properly, so instead, he try to make Josy look pathetic, which is totaly not the impression what he was originally intended for Josy.

all this because his master Maya and her fucking tuition storyline. I wonder who gonna be the next victim of this storyline

one thing I find extremely ironic, is I remember the time, between episode 6 and 7, for months lots of lots of people where freaked out by that dpc will gonna force them to play Maya boyfriend in frotn of her father , what did not happened. But , in episode 10, where you are actually has to play her boyfriend, none seem to have a problem with it. Not the Quinn fans, not the Sage, Bella, Jill or any other who claim they dont give a fuck about the whole Josy maya stuff.
