Currently replaying from the start for the first time in a long while to finally do the Josy + Maya & Jill paths and made me remember some of the mysteries that were setup early on and kind of made me rethink certain mysteries later. Like, who sent the initial blackmail letters to the alphas? While some of the photos are selfies, one is the threesome photo of Derek, Jacob and Arieth from the closet and the angle indicates it's likely from the camera from the ceiling that Derek finds. Been so long I forgot that connection. I'm sure things like that have been discussed to death but this replay has really made me appreciate certain details setup early on like the little Maya twist revealed last episode and made me rethink those scenes replaying them.

This is revisited at the end of ep10, It’s most likely Beth trying to sabotage the DIKS, as evidenced by the letter to the Alphas, Cathy’s post, the leaked photos of DIKs’ Hell Weeks, and the camera in Derek’s room we still don’t know why she’s doing this, but if you search her name in the forum, you’ll find some theories.
I wouldn't call it lazyness, it would have created a greater branch in the game and it would take way longer for episodes to come out, but yeah, if DPC were a greater studio that should definetely happened.

I agree (I've posted the same screenshot previously), but to be fair, just from the two photos, it could easily be two different properties. You can't see the exact same part of it very well in both because of the girls covering up parts of it. Should at least be able to see a similarity though (and it's probably a lot easier to match them up with a closer look at the two pictures).
However... MC probably won't be capable of noticing this, because when he looks at the top photo, all he can see is Jill's cleavage

This happens with a lot of plot points in the game. We're introduced to something and then it takes DPC around 5 episodes to touch upon that subject again. I liked the pacing of these things better in the earlier episodes, when you would slowly uncover stuff and it would stay as a relevant narrative throughout the other later episodes too. Remember how everyone theorized for so long about who really trashed the DIKs' mansion and now in EP10 we finally got the reveal that it was none other than... Caleb? It's the pacing of some of these themes in the game that is really bothersome to me, mainly because it used to not be that way. Not a big fan of Maya or her storyline, but at least in the earlier episodes the MC consistently asked her about her difficulties with completing the pledge board in almost every episode, slowly discovering that she's a lesbian and what her father's attitude towards that is, then the whole drama with Josy and everything that went on between them. As I said, I personally didn't like any of that too much, but at least the pacing of it was done better than this shit where major key moments are established and then all of it is almost completely buried away right after, before it's finally brought up again after 3-5 episodes and it turns out to be nothing significant.
