I've mostly been writing this week. I'm getting close to the end of the free roam events, but I have around 10 events left to write before it's wrapped up.
I also finished the remaining environment work by making more renders for the free roam. It took a bit longer than I expected because I had to manage 60-ish characters and revisit the drawing board with how they should be placed and moved around.
While I will continue to write more next week, I will also start working again on static renders. Now that I have written a lot of dialogue, I have the recipe for the renders in place.
I've tried to compare the current size of the free roam I'm working on to that of other episodes to get an estimated render count for it. 1100-1400 is a fair guess for the events I've written. After all is written, it will probably be in the upper range.
It will feel good to return to creating art after a couple of weeks of work focusing on writing.

That's why I said "in most cases". You might be onto something though. An interesting thing another user noticed some time ago was that Nick and Burke have (or at least used to have) pretty much the exact same pose and expression in the character profiles section on MC's old phone. This, as well as their similarities in appearance, sparked up theories about Nick being the bastard child of Stephen Burke. We all know that DPC likes to keep relatives of characters hidden away from players until the final revelation. There is literally no way to tell for sure before he actually reveals it, at least that was the case with Sage's and Jill's parents. Other connections between characters can be easy to tell like the MC and Vinny being written as mirror characters, if you look at the way they step up the ladder at one point in time and basically steer the DIKs in the way they deem to be the right way. The characters that are actually the closest to each other are the ones that are the hardest to make a connection between.

That's not manipulating anyone. Hell, Maya and Derek were keeping lips sealed about the entire situation until Patrick revealed himself and the crew decided to start trying to help Maya out. Sage asked Maya why she was dead set on the tuition; Maya completed her pledges like everyone else did and Sage officially considered her a Sister at that point, so she wanted to help Maya sort out what was keeping her from joining, and why her tuition fee was so important. That's how she pried out the info about her dad and the loan contract, and that's also why Sage started seeing if her dad could help, because the sorority looks out for each other and as president she felt the need to help one of her Sisters out.
Maya isn't ever conniving or manipulative; she loves her parents but her dad frustrates her. Yet, after episode 10 she begs the MC not to be so hard on Patrick because she and Derek both knew how much he sacrificed to raise them and help their mother.

Dalli was just having a good time in the thread writing these crazy theories and watching people's reactions, I don't think he's serious... hopefully.
He's probably serious occasionally but that's usually when he writes coherent theories that make sense. Other times, I'd just chalk it up to him being tired, drunk or something else. Or maybe he really is crazy and he just hits the nail on the head sometimes simply because he's capable of such unambiguous thinking in regards to this game that sometimes he can't help but be correct.
