But you can't have back the time you waited for the developer to work on a feature nobody wants, so DPC better not think of it or we're going to have a minimum delivery time of 29 months per episode...

that's true but I left Patreon after 6 months so I'm waiting for the update and read another author if he want me to come back then give me an update every 3 months like it he did at the beginning

A few subscribers probably did, but the fanbase on Patreon seem very keen in continuing paying monthly for as many months per episode as DPC is going to "allow himself to take"...

It's Patreon, baby: it's very hard to get the initial success and thus subscribers, but once you get it, providing that the quality of your deliveries is good (and DPC does have a high quality for the AVN standards, I have to recognise that) you can expand delivery time basically as much as you want.
We're seeing this for any developer providing a good product, not only DPC.

I'd love to see the MC pegged, but the vast majority of too-straight-to-actually-being-straight men would shout GAAAAYYYY and unsubscribe Patreon.

DPC is very keen to upset his audience, true, but not in a way that might "damage his business" (quote).

The scenes he will write will defininently add quite a bit of static renders, but if you take a look at the last phrase of today's report it does suggest the only animations left are from lewd scenes, so the remaining scenes yet to be written won't need any.

Last time he mentioned his static number was 6K in the 25/10 report, yet he still had had to write a lot of scenes, so I wouldn't be surprised if the final number reaches 7K.

But the statics were never the issue and those can be posed/rendered in 2 weeks at worst

I could be wrong of course, but at this point I'm pretty confident in the march release window even if he adds a few random (short) animations.

Also, I must say my 5/10 averages guess isn't rock solid either, DPC already showed much worse numbers and even some better ones.

For example if you look at the reports from 04/10 and 25/10 he managed a 13 animations rendered per week despite using only half of his PCs apparently.

Now of course, all of those could be very short animations, but he could surprise us.

The opposite is also true and much more likely to happen.

Either way, no need to rush, we still got a few more months in the maddening wait.

and all animations would be 6 different sex poses with choice tab, when it not only slows "developing" but also ruins immersion for me. (+ all these sex and poses already exist from like ~ep7 with all main girls). better do it with 1-2 poses and without asking. at least these recurring scenes from each ep will become unique. not just Jill with her ep8 HJ-ep9 lick-ep10 BJ-(ep11 will be able to cum in her mouth, 100%).
I still dont understand how on earth with 3090 to 4090 you are increasing developing time? its not possible. with current capacities you could just keep up with 9 months. but with increased capacity how it could happen? it only could decrease durastically, not visa versa. Or if you trying to add useless 1000 renders of drama each update, it should at least remain still.

But I'm not the statistically typical DPC's Patreon subscriber. So my opinion doesn't matter in DPC's choice on which content is better to avoid for his financial interests.

And the dude's so good with choices, so make it a clear choice: Quinn asks you if you want to get pegged, you can say yes or no, if you say yes every sex scene with her has 2 variations (or I guess 3, 'cuz vaginal, anal or pegging), or if you say no, she will never ask you again.
Or something like that, you know. Still, a couple ppl would still unsub, saying that he's wasting devtime with this (yes, with this for sure, not with 60 fps animations), but you gotta admit there's a couple of us wanting this to happen for real. Maybe not now, but in the future definitely.

There are very passionate individuals. The pleasure of the created product and its universal recognition can probably be higher than the simple desire to get rich. Although, one does not interfere with the other, I think.

Yes, maybe. So far, I like everything. The plot, the characters, the details, the mini-games in general. And "even" Madame. I am sure that she will occupy an important place in history in the future.

unless he hires a team, but that wouldn't go down well I'm guessing. Well he could outsource the madam Rose animations, couldn't care less about those But even that... iirc he uses those to experiment with new things.
