True that is cheap, especially for something that tries to sell itself as elite with all the supposed wealthy and high powered alumni. Even though it looks to have the fewest amount of Greeks I have ever seen in a College/University.

Tuition at CUNY Lehman College is $7,410 per year for in-state residents and $15,360 for out-of-state residents. And Room & Board is $21,788.
I'm assuming all the protagonists are from the same state where the college is located. But even if the price is relatively inexpensive for them, they have to buy food, textbooks, and clothes anyway. Apparently her father gives Maya money not only for nice clothes, but also for breast augmentation surgery.
All in all, B&R is a small college. So small that it doesn't have its own sports team.

Just finished Chick Jill run and WOW what a journey. It has such fresh perspective of the game because Jill's world deviate a lot more than other characters. You explore new sceneries, new friend groups and also it's different kind of environment, more mature, more classy. I can definitely see how not everyone would enjoy it and it's not my favorite path to have, but it did become one of my favorite paths to EXPERIENCE. Story wise it feels really satisfying to play this route. And I have to say... sex scenes are cranked to the max on this path, damn if some of my favorite girls would get such nice visuals I would be a happy camper.

Also... Is it just me or on this Jill path after things get serious I get the vibe that a) game is teasing me with a lot more cheating opportunities (which I'm tempted to dabble in just to see hehe) and b) some hints of foot/stockings fetish? Maya of all people shows up to my room without bra and see through shirt and starts teasing me about my love for stockings, meanwhile I sit there and think "Has she been reading my posts on F95zone about her?". Very interesting stuff gotta say. And no I'm not into feet, I still explored what was given and can appreciate it as interesting inclusion

Another thing I do on this run is I don't take any money from the environment, not even from my room. So MC is pretty much permanently broke and only gets money from other people when offered or bet is made (very rare occasions) and I just spent my last dollar on those damn fishes (thanks Nick, just let me do all the work and worry about finances without ability to get any money back from it since minigames are disabled). Maybe Jill will pamper me going forward, I did set my eyes on that sweet guitar hope she gifts it to MC for Xmas!!

This just reminds me of how wonky DPC's writing for the financial system is. Yes, it is a fantasy story, but some things really seem out of whack when you look at it properly

Wow my mind just got blown, I am typing this with game open in the background cause I had to get it out there with fresh memory. So I am doing Chick Jill run or as I like to call it CHILL run and while initially going for Chick side is really boring (coupled with the fact that minigames are off), once you actually get the Jill focused parts it's such a fresh perspective of the game because she is sort of really different from most other characters. Maybe I was initially intimidated by that fact so it took me this long to try and see what kind of content she really has. And the details DrPinkCake put here are amazing actually. I would argue that disabling minigames for this run is enhancing the roleplay experience. MC being broke constantly compliments the dynamic he has with Jill who is clearly used to luxury. Mansion not being built perfectly, school tests not being done perfectly, fights not going smoothly. All these are meaningful flaws not detrimental ones. And the big reason why I jumped here straight away... Just got done with dinner at Bianca's house and I noticed Jill's model eyes looked a bit wonky and normally I would think that is mistake on rendering process by dev, but for such sophisticated game later I realize when MC said he couldn't spot which friend had glass eye.... It's bloody Jill isn't it? She has the glass eye? And the dialogue after they exit that house, the genius of that conversation with turtle and slow and steady wins the race comments. I might not have Jill high on favorites list and find Chick side of the game quite boring, but for STORY this run is actually so epic! It feels like you discover alternate version of the game from what you normally play and I enjoy this ride very much!

That makes me wonder, what if I enjoy Maya/Josy path after this unsuspecting surprise? Maybe I will give it a shot after all... Sorry for rambling, I got super emotional just now. Thanks for reading

And roleplay wise it helps that I don't get paid for playing games on phone or picking up random money all over campus. Maybe you misunderstood, I have minigames disabled on this run. So basically I belong to the flow DPC sets, imperfect grades, not expert carpenter, not party planning prodigy, not Bruce Lee incarnate etc. Without minigames only money you get basically by stealing, I just chose not to do that. As far as "poor peasant and rich princess falls in love" trope goes, it's not really what I strive for, but I don't mind it and why not it's not like it's overused theme especially in this industry. Who hasn't thought about having a sugarmoma once or twice

Yeah I know, maybe I'm not best at explaining myself. But when I have minigames on I do stuff perfectly so MC always feels like a superhuman. Here it feels more natural, immersive, MC has flaws and this way it feels you can soak more of the overall story not just be a shining beacon and everything be about you. I wouldn't want this on all runs, I like my gigachad fantasy it's a game after all, but for this Jill run I dunno it just feels really nice to be with flaws and broke and just a nice guy..
