I know this has been at least mentioned in the past, but it's starting to drive me crazy. Is there a reason that morning light through the windows look a lot like smoke/mist in the early episodes?

Imo he is implementing all this useless shit because he really thinks (somehow) that it improves his game, i always see him as a (crazy) artist lol.
Sometimes its great that he doesnt give a shit what his players think/want, sometimes it really sucks (like with 60fps animations and minigames). He just does what he thinks is good and doesnt give a fuck about anything/anyone else and tbf it did lead to this very good avn which is way better than most, so its not all bad.

What are you talking about? He's an excellent leader! He always praises the team, gives big bonuses, lets them make their own hours, no crunch time whatsoever, and there's no sexual harassment in the workplace!
No one ever complains about him as a leader, that's just how goddamn good he is
Of course, after all DPC is quite open to constructive opinions and suggestions from its employees and benefactors.

Minigames are great in this game. They are a matter of taste. Do I like doing minigames on my 50th playthrough? No. But that's why the no minigame option exists. Does it alter the gameplay a bit? Yes. Does it lead you to game over or unable to achieve most things you normally can with minigames on? No. Developing minigames may take some time away from creating something you like more, but never say that minigames are useless or that everyone hates them.

Just because you don't appreciate it, doesn't mean that everybody else feels the same. I love increased quality, I love the minigames, I love the immersion of the animations, I hate Madame Rose (but people on Patreon asked for them so obviously some love it). If you feel the game is so bad, why do you even bother playing it?
And don't forget Patreons cut and that he pays 55% taxes on that.

That's not it. Like many Indie Devs, he's very protective of his game. And after what happened to College Kings, can you really blame him for not wanting to repeat someone else's mistake? Is it really that important to get the update earlier that you would accept lower quality and lots of bugs?

Yeah, there seems to be some high rollers on Pateron who wants her or else he would have gotten rid of her after the huge backlash. We know he created her on request from some on Patreons and apparently, he keeps her in the game for the same reason.
It depends imo
Management games and something like the brawler are fine(ish) and can indeed add something to the story.
But anything puzzle-like or the english, math or new tests are entirely useless, people who like to play these kind of minigames/quiz/puzzles can do this all over online or whereever, why do they have to be in an avn, when development times suck already in this genre anyway?

I focus on Riona, Lily, Nicole, Camilla and Cathy in my Chick Others playthrough. I also tried Nora but I had a feeling hers would become problematic with the others so I broke it off and decided to continue hers on a separate save. I decided against adding Jade because again, I worried it would create problems further along.
None of those should cause any problems unless they later ask to be exclusive, in which case you can break it off if you like. All of them appreciate a Chick MC. Lily is the exception because she has a short Dick exclusive make-out scene and one that is easier to get if you're a Dick, but she also has a scene that is easier to get if you're not a Dick. Camilla has one that need you to be a Dick too.
Of course, if you don't choose to order from Quinn's restaurant, you will miss some scenes with Riona, Lily and Camilla in season 1-2 (but there are ways around some of them). However, it doesn't seem to affect season 3.
