the first party she shows up is the HoT's party. (episode 7)
Nope, episode 2.

A lot of the girls can be seen at the DIK parties early on. Penny, as an example, is at a DIK party in Episode 4.
‘he is crazy and does crazy things’ is still not a motive
Not the motive, that would be becoming President. I'm talking about taking such a huge risk.

Time to replay the Interlude... I don't hate Zoey, but I certainly don't love her. Or at least I don't care about her as much as DPC was probably hoping. The whole story probably could have been condensed some more, a lot more. Ah well.

DPC was smart enough to open it with a pretty good lewd...

... but then was stupid enough to have it set against the wrong kind of song. Anyway, San Diego here I come!
Yes that's how I see her. With thunderous... apathy. Just can't bring myself to actually care about her.

that Tommy wants to become president, taking Rusty out, simply doesn't make sense. his DIKs rely solely on Rusty's money, without MC's sermon they would have already folded as a fraternity.

Quinn's help doesn't make sense either, it's obvious that the money Quinn makes isn't enough for her as it is and why would she help Tommy? DIKs aren't that central to her business (HOTs is, but not Quinn's)

but more importantly Tommy as VP has all the freedom that he would lose as president; for Cathy to get Rusty in trouble precisely because he is president, why would Tommy want that exposure?

in the matters he cares about Rusty doesn't stick his nose in (in a slightly less cheating way than between Quinn and Sage).

a completely random culprit can't be ruled out either, but it would be a disappointing solution.
