Yes, those details in the first season are more cared for.that depend on various different factors not just affinity. at least for Neutral it depend on your previous choice, I think you had to Fight with the Jocks and Caleb.
Dik affinity automatically get the option to punch him , and chick only can try to talk himself out of it
but the game relative erly shown what is the major difference between a Chick MC and a Dik/neutral one.

Yeah Sage's character progression is kinda slow, but ramps up very quickly in the last 2 episodes of Season 2. The scene where you kiss in the garden is where I think Sage moves past the lust stage and realises that she likes fuckface, which you can then reinforce in the sick hangout.
I hate that the sick hangout locks off Jill's path, I think its incredibly sweet
