Nah, the love is still there, that's why it's so hard for either of them to consider leaving the other because they know they love each other, they just don't love the situation they're in. Josy even says to the MC in Ep 10, even if you said you had feelings for her, that she "doesn't know" what she'll do if things don't go right with the plan to get the papers. If she was so sure that she wants to be with the MC, she wouldn't say that.

Now that actually can't happen. Josy's actions would be cheating. The one who netorares darkwen is the one Josy cheats on him with. In order for Josy to netorare darkwen she would have to steal someone from him and since the only one he cares about is Josy herself it is impossible for her to do that. She can cheat and betray the shit out of darkwen but not netorare him.

That's how that concept works. To give you a clear example of this, if one were to say that Sage netorares Chad that would not mean that she fucks MC, but that she fucks Troy. Well fucking MC would count if Chad were in love with him, but let's not go any further into that one.

It doesn't matter if he's not there, it's the threat that he either somehow finds out or makes a surprise visit and catches them together as nearly happened in Ep 7. That's why they kept their distance after that incident because before it, they got complacent and too relaxed about staying in the same room and momentarily forgot about what was at stake. They did then spend time together in Ep 8 and resolved to make things better.

We also don't know how much time they are spending together because we're not being not shown it, but just because you aren't seeing it doesn't mean it isn't happening because there's a lot happening in this game we don't see. DPC can't be expected to show us every little thing going on in everyone's lives otherwise each update would be 20k renders long and take 3 years at a time.

The whole reason things aren't good right now is because Patrick's threat to Maya means they have to be cautious and secretive about their relationship in case he ever finds out they're together here. That's the truth. I get you want to project something else because of your obsession over Josy and not wanting to believe anything other than her "true love" for the MC, but that's just living in a reality alternate to what the game is actually telling and presenting us.
