Now that we're done with the previews, remember back in May when DPC said this? Either he has a very high bar for what he considers a spoiler, or this claim was complete and total bullshit. Now, BIG story spoilers like anything regarding Rio was not posted (outside of that Quinn preview, which doesn't tell us too much), but we got some pretty sexy previews that probably would've worked better as a total surprise.

Of all the trash-talking, crap games, good games, and lord knows the self-importance on here, this is the one thread and dev you most definitely aren't allowed to say something negative about. People will riot. Let any other game take more than 4 months and people are losing their minds, but not DPC. lol

Some devs get shit for taking 4 months? Because they delivered one scene and it didn't include penetration. Some devs take three years to complete a game that has less content than one BADIK episode. The guy takes long but what he delivers is BIG.

You focused on one stat. The time between updates. You ignored how big the updates are, thus implying all updates from all devs are equal. This is called stat cropping. People who base an argument on it are NEVER right.

I wonder why so many of you guys who play as a massive dick who makes very questionable choices always think that the massive dik route is the ONLY route.

Have you ever thought that quite a lot of players chose to close the restaurant by refusing its services?

Also, the restaurant doesn't actually seem to be core content, just something to make the plot points happen. The content was limited to mostly once per event, instead of repeatable. I would gladly have cheated for the money to repeat some of those actions... The later actions were pretty cool, and how they changed interactions with the "menu items" were fun.

I believe they can confraternize in panties (that is, I don't believe this is a dream sequence); I don't believe -- yet -- all the girls there would do a reverse gangbang with tremolo.

It's not even a "yet" it's a "100% never gonna happen"

There are extremes in both sides: on one, we have pigeonholed monodimensional unchangeable characters (or the believe they are or should always be like this); on the other, schizo characters with erratic behaviours who can do anything even if it contradicts their personalities in the previous episode (or the believe they are or can act like this). Good writing has a setup before changes happens so they don't seem random.

Well, I personally don't see anything in that scene being something that's all that hard to believe or that's it's some sort of "erratic" behavior from anyone. It's not like we need to see those kinds of sandbox-style gradualism scenes every episode where the girls becomes more and more comfortable in various states of undress around the MC and others, even when off-path, in order for it to make sense.

Nothing in that scene to me seems "random" like it was somehow impossible or not within any of the characters to do this. This is ultimately just a bunch of friends having fun and all being comfortable enough around each other like this. They've all, at some point, shown some skin to the MC anyway, mostly always in underwear too, including Jill, or are at least bold enough to do it even if they haven't. It's also been a couple of months since he potentially broke things off with them if he'd gone as far as the breakfast choice, or longer if he hadn't gone that far, so more than enough time for the girls to accept the situation and the friendzoning. Add in a bit of alcohol as we see behind them and there's more reason why they're cutting loose like this.

I honestly think it's kind of funny seeing some of the pearl clutching over this preview. They aren't one-note characters and this isn't going to an extreme, imo, it's right in the middle as far as I'm concerned.
