None of that actually goes against what I said though, the mansion gets trashed in episode 5 and what you've mentioned all takes place after the start of episode 6. Giving him time to put the room into the game. I'm not saying I'm 100% right but it is something that is a very distinct possibility.

That might currently be true, but in the past (as far as we know) Quinn never opened up to someone who was both mentally and physically able to protect her. MC is the first one who fits both traits.I have a bit more than one, but it's not me we talking about.
The point is, that the game story show it to us that MC has to make specific decisions that makes Quinn happy and interested in him, in order to be on her " path ". MC is not saving her, He is dragged in to her life style, deeper and deeper until he eventually pay the price for it, because it's always somone else who pay the price for Quinn actions
