Better Cock Spock found a way around it. Something to do with opening and closing the phone I think.

Yeah that worked for me on other freeroams. But for some reason it hasn't worked on the BBQ one at all.

• Opened/closed the phone.
• Opened phoned, interacted with Rooster and other apps. Closed phone.

Both leave me in the same state with the movement arrows not showing up and can't click on the beer pong table.

Even accessed the console via URM, and reloaded the game but still nothing.

It's really strange why a few people have the problem, but myself and others never do. Some clash with something I guess, you could try asking on the URM thread. 0x52 might be able to figure it out before the release.

Yeah I actually couldn't fix it with the BBQ specifically, had to reload earlier save.

Try not to save during freeroams in general, only during dialogue/scenes.

I’m curious as to which path everyone is going to go for first? I’m thinking about Quinn’s path first but I’m not sure it’s going to go anywhere. Hmm. Btw, this thread has felt a lot more… sedate the last few days. Excitement waning? Adrenaline high run out? Did the mini thread purges knock the wind out of some you? What has happened?

Yeah, unfortunately in my infinite wisdom I decided to take the lazy route of one save slot per LI/SG. I had lost all my renpy saves when I swapped hard drive and forgot to backup the %appdata%/renpy folder. Figured it'd be faster to speed through the content as quickly as possible to get ready for the update.

Not sure why, his visual novel isn't a flipping MMO or competitive PVP scene.
You'd think a guy making bank off porn would be supporting steam workshop even.

What I've heard is that DPC got fed up with trying to diagnose bugs that eventually turned out to be caused by mod use, so decided to put in anti-mod features to discourage people using them (possibly also to make the mod-crashes obvious and easy to diagnose).

I can certainly sympathise with wanting to eliminate a major source of PEBCAK bugs.

Is this your first time finishing chapter 10?
I’m pretty sure Tommy and Heather’s relationship is probably in trouble regardless of the MC’s actions. Just depends on whether you want to trust JB, whether you are generally a snitch or not, and whether you are wanting to help Heather or protecting Tommy? I tend to side with Heather, but we don’t actually know what consequences our actions will have yet.
