I mean in the past, this time HE was not depressed, angry a bit, but come on it's not even comparable to episode 4. It's overreaching at this point, from those who say otherwise.

It is a complete overreaction to what his dad said. In the whole MJ playthrough it is mentioned many times that he needs to be cheered up. His dad was literally right though, when you look at what Josy is telling Maya how she feels at Bella's house.
This game is still peak ngl. There really isn't a single game that compares to the scope and branching this game has. Taking that away/reducing it just to meet the arbitrary deadlines from a vocal minority on a pirate website would be doing it a disservice in the long run.
The choosing of one path at the end of S2 was a logical one as this game was never intended to be a harem in the first place. I wouldn't mind a non-canon harem ending just for shits and giggles once this game approaches its conclusion though.

The nerd frat being the ones doing the letter drops and all that, if anyone has seen the old american pie movies, then you saw this coming waaaaay long ago., its very predictable but i guess since this vn is alot of those movies it fits.

I assume you are on AMD because when I downloaded the Adrenaline update I started getting the same issues.
Haven't found a fix yet sadly.

I used to like Quinn, she was one of my favorite LIs, but after this chapter I just want to hit her, everything bad that happens to Rio is her fault, hopefully in the future we can do something to help her.
On the other hand, Lily has grown as a character for me, having more layers than what was seen at first, I only put the MC with her for fun but I think she is a pretty good LI (although not as much as Rio).
Zoey even though she deserves to be dumped I still feel a little sorry for her, I wonder if she will try to fight for the MC or give up, to her bad luck her competition is stronger.
My honest reaction to seeing what was done to Riona:
