So you have more with Josy than Maya. The divisions by 74 and 67 are there to balance things since you can get more RP with Maya then Josy in the game

Throughout the JM branch I have tried to keep a balance between the two.

It also makes it more believable that MC would go for Zoey while dating Sage. That's why they often say that a relationship that starts with cheating (Sage cheating on Chad with MC) ends with cheating (MC cheating on Sage with Zoey).

Depends on how you play it. My main Sage route now was a Chick run that only started after the breakup with Chad.

Hm that would makes sense if being CHICK gives you more opportunities for Maya points. I am CHICK in my M&J playthrough and even though i took every chance i got to get more Josy points, Maya still won by about 10 points difference.
Guess i will have to start yet another playthrough for them, this time NEUTRAL and see if i can get Josy then because i much prefer her over Maya and if there were to be a breakup in the future i would like to end up with Josy, not that's probably going to happen

No, affinity has nothing to do with. If you want josy, there is 3 time in the game where you have to choose who you visit
ep 5, ep 7, ep 10. Go for Josy all the time, - as you should by default, so I dont really understand the problem here anyway, -
