It was shown that Magnar hacked the laptop, so thats the mainsoruce for basically everything... and the cathy cluck picture and Chads gay picture are based on a hidden cam in the lockerroom or a spying Ron... And Ron was at a lot of the DIK parties (not only the Halloween party), so its reasonable to assume, he had access to the closet long before the MC even started his college journey.

Why should Vinny install a hidden cam in the closet? What for? Doesnt make sense... he is a brute, not a sneaky spy. And lets not forget the spy-drone... its likely that more nerds are following magnars agenda not only Ron.

Its all Magnar... and nothing else... Vinny has his own plot, drugs and that. Not spy cams and such things. And for the safe he wanted to open... duh... money? Simple as that. He doesnt care for the laptop, why should he?

I just wanted to join in and say that I doubt that nerds had the capabilities to install hidden spy camera in one of the campus buildings. I'm not it was Vinny who did it, but I also don't believe nerds were capable of it either. Yall make them seem like an organization of professional hackers, which they are not. Sure, they do have enough skills to hack a laptop or maybe even security cameras, but at the end of the day, they are just a bunch of students. I think the camera installation was made by Stephen Burke and whoever is in the higher-ups. Or if the nerds actually did it, they did it with Burke's aid, because Stephen also got the recording of Jade and MC. This, however, won't just end in a simple frat war, if Burke's actually involved in it

Any idea what his majesty DPC is going to do next? I know he probably won't jump to the production of episode 12 right away and we shouldn't expect any announcements, but still would be interesting to know what's the next step. Idk how it works with him, but I read somewhere in here that he does Q&A sessions. Any feedback sessions (god please let there be a poor soul among his patrons who will become a sacrificial lamb to tell him that minigames are too much in this season and he should tone it down a bit). But genuinely want to know what should we expect next

He's already working on 12 episode. During the recent status updates, he said several times that he had started writing the script and creating animations. I think we'll have several scenes ready for the first ep12 status update, just like last year. His first step will be to publish the official guide for ep 11. I think he'll do it next week.
The Questions and Answers will probably take place in late March or early April.
Well, I think we'll see the first preview next week. The ending wasn't as much of a spoiler as the ending of ep 11.

As far as we know it was just the girls who had it out for DIKs that were posting the stuff. I agree that the explanation why they'd include Cathy pics in this was incredibly weak and removed most of sympathy i'd have for them otherwise.

edit: perhaps what they thought they're doing was "look, this is a picture of teacher that the DIKs posted to humiliate her", and it just didn't come across very clear in the writing. BUt it's still shitty even then.

Yes, but the point is that this is a selfish choice (putting your own fun over responsibility to finish what you started) and being selfish and irresponsible is aligned much closer with DIK attitude than the CHICK one, at least as far as the game presented it so far.

I understand you're raising the moral side of the issue... but I'll tell you honestly, I'd choose Bella's party too if my gf was there.

Last year, there were a lot of similar questions about the timing of development and the pace, and he answered them all as best he could. I am sure that there will be such questions, and he will answer them in vague terms, as always.

Being a DIK is very much inspired by movies like Revenge of the Nerds etc, so this development is perfectly on brand. The only difference is the MC is part of a popular frat instead of the nerd underdogs, so you see that plot from different perspective.


It's not forced. A lot of MC's automatic actions in this episode hinge on whether you told Maya or Josy that you love them.

Unfortunately no, but I doubt many other students (except maybe for Dawe and the tri-betas) want to screw Cathy over like this. The rest just find it either funny or sad for Cathy, but don't really seem to either have a reason or willingness to put them up. Let's just say it's my gut feeling compared to what is being said in the scene that the Dorm girls are probably the only ones spreading it at school (although others of course might spread it on the internet).

Does anyone know why her in particular? Does she has some connection to the DIKs the other Dorm girls that are in on it don't?

Why would she do that? The whole reason if on her route that she is only doing PR is to pay for college and its easy, take off some clothes and get paid a lot.

More money is always nice to have, although I admit it's not as easy as PR for many girls.

So telling Sage that she's hot in her costume or wondering what it would have been like if you chose her is considered cheating? Is telling Sarah and Melanie that they're hot is cheating? Is taking a sensual photo of Camile cheating? Hugging Rio to make her feel better is cheating? Because it's the only things I did in episode 9 and I can't tell them I love you. And I think it's stupid because that's not cheating.

Regarding episode 10 I played beer pong with Camie and told her to show me the goods. Is that really cheating? Because is a fucking game, no cheating. Or tell John Boy that Elena is hot. Those things can’t be considered cheating.

If the things I listed are considered cheating I don’t get the creators logic. Because if that cheating, what is being in the same room with practically 5 nude girls partying and drinking? By that logic Maya and Josy should break up with you after Bella house party in episode 11.

so far he jumped into prduction immediatly everytime, why do you think he will not do that this time?

Most likely the animation queue is running (more like never stopped), just like last time when he did several animations even BEFORe episode 10 was released. And besides... he already mentioned in several DEV reports that he was already working beforehand in advance on epsiode 12. This and that, nothing particular... but yeah...

There are many things DPC can be blamed for, but not that he isnt working nearly every day on the game. He doesnt reeally make vacations, or has days off, this year a dear loved one died and he didnt really slowed down... its just that, he cant hold back and is stuffing every new episode with even more unnessesary stuff, so the DEV cycle increases and increases...

Most likely the next DEv report (every friday) will be a "report" about the overall release and how it went, and when the official walkthrough can be expected (usally about 3 weeks after the release of an episode), and MAYBE the status of the animation queue which most likely never stopped. He was doing renders and animations in advance for episode 12 already... and some other stuff too.

Maybe he will talk about Hardware upgrades too? But i dont think so... he might have that on his mind, but RTX5090 is hard to come by and not that big of an upgrade compared to RTX4090 (which isnt available either, so no new render slave either) in the regard of rendering... so, no new hardware at the moment i guess.

Yeah basically... rundwon how pleased he was with the release, when to expect the walkthrough, and maybe something like "and the animation queue is already running" Not much more... but the work on episode 12 already began weeks ago.

NGL, it's a missed opportunity that MC who chooses to leave for Bella's party doesn't return to DIK mansion only to find a smoking pile of rubble there, thanks to Derek taking charge.

It wasnt shown that he hacked the laptop [I think], but it definitely seems like the thing he could do easily. That part where he's coding brawler doesnt mean anything its just filler.
