I was thinking the same thing when I played... It doesn't make sense... The HOTs are not an escort service (well... they are, but not when attending Alphas' parties), and gain nothing from the deal. The Alphas are a bunch of pathetic losers—which is kinda weird and somewhat of a plot hole when you think they were supposed to be the hot guys before the DIKs arrived... The HOT could just tell 'em to fuck off...
Yeah... But B&R is not Ivy League or the average American college. I don't even think it has a good reputation... It could be out of spite, but Steve said it was the "poor man's college." I think Jill, Rusty, Sage, and Tybalt only study there because they're owners' or faculty's children. If there were one frat it would make sense for the HOTs to associate with it would be the preppies because, at least, they have connections.
The Alphas are what? The jocks in a college that doesn't seem to have a sports tradition! They're jocks of what? Bodybuilding? Only Chad and, now, Caleb could stand a chance at that—and for competing, not winning. If the game would be only a comedy OK, but, as a pretend-to-be-serious game, the Alphas being who they are is bizarre... I think those frats and sororities in the US that have traditions probably have something to justify their traditions because those groups are all about status and connections. Being associated with a bunch of losers is not good for business...
Like, take Dawe for instance. Even if he's rich, I don't think even his father's best friend would offer him a job nor his father would want him to inherit his business if he has one. I think he'd rather leave him with a trust fund or, at best, buy him a gym with the condition he can name the manager.
