So, am I the only one who finds the Zoey scene completely pointless?
90% of the players will choose their LI and even reject her with a heavy heart, especially if they know that Sage is haunted by her parents' divorce issues, Jill has a dead drug addict sister, Josy and Maya have relationship problems. Hell, who in their right mind would take Zoey back?
My theory is backed up by the fact that the latest bug fix has the potential breakup bug with Sage fixed. That means the beta testers didn't choose that option themselves, and it wasn't in the specs from DPC. What if choosing or not choosing Zoey doesn't affect anything?
Maybe not choosing Zoey is canonical?

And then make another save where you accept her. Or vice versa. And then probably make a dozen more saves to follow the routes you want to play. You can and should play multiple routes. If you only have one that's a you problem, and not the devs fault, game is designed this way.

Okey here is for all the Sage lovers.

I Definately enjoy the heartfelth scene where the MC tells her he loves her, and definately enjoy her reaction as well.
and from beginning to end she is quite the character, even wifey material.

The only thing that keeps me from really wanting her. is her current family, a dad who gets kicks from doing students, and perving faculty staff.
A Mother, who has a rage buildup like a hulk on steroids, doesn't listen to her husband and is nothing more then all those whacko womans she teaches.
Then we have a Panty sniffing brother, who, lets face it, only wants to make himself look good.

Now she already hates her brother, wich is good, but she sees her parents as those who gave her a chance when she had nothing, even said she wanted to do the same for others.
Now obviously she still wants to continu seeing them. wich is the final turndown on me really want to build a relationship for the future with her. if she cuts them both out of her life then hey, i'm on train Sage as well, but chances are, she will be walking down the isle while some sort of dickish perv is holding her hands.

But like i said, i have nothing against Sage herself, she is quite the woman. It's just the family surrounding her that's whacked with a rubber duck whacker to much.

In theory MC could reject Josy and Maya for Jill for example. Then he could reject Jill for Zoey.
He could break up twice in three episodes.

I'll add from myself. I used to always go through mostly DIK Sage, which I thought was canonical. But now I've changed my opinion I think the canonical Sage is Chick. In general all LIs are canonical Chick. After all, it's the only place where you can maximize the depth of your connections and declare your love.
I also have a save of Sage with Jade( without video). It's already clear that leaking the video is stupid for both the Others branch and the Sage branch. Sage with Jade's baggage is the most dramatic and depressing part of the Sage branch, there is some painful love in it, there is a feeling of hopelessness. And I wonder if the MC will be able to deal with that and find happiness with Sage.
Sage without Jade is a very happy Sage ahead who generally doesn't have much trouble. I like that too, because you get tired of that Jade-like baggage following you around.
