Sage's Path: Fire and Tears.
A year ago I started reviewing branches with negative vent, but now I want to focus on the best things that were in the update.
As I thought, Sage's arc would be somewhat dark due to her parents' divorce, and it turned out to be true. Sage feels depressed and compensates for it by drinking wine at Bella's and having a blast, but still, her emotions come out and she opens up to MC, who successfully comforts her. For her, losing her family again, being abandoned again, is her greatest fear, coming true again. And for Bella, when they all get together, Sage sees their new group of friends as a new family. Very powerful and symbolic moment.

Next up is meeting with Neil - Sage is one of two LIs who can add to this scene. And this didn't go as I thought, but we all want quiet comfort sometimes. Sage got along well with Neil, which I liked, he noticed how easy-going she is, but Neil, you don't know much...
But then Fuckface himself is to blame. What the hell, you're a FUCKING RETARD telling your girlfriend that... you're going to hang out with your ex tomorrow.

You just don't do it, bro. How can you simultaneously comfort people with words and make them feel better, but still be backward in relationships? Blah-blah-blah, she's not just my ex, she's my best friend, my only friend, blah-blah-blah...doesn't matter. Don't do this to your GF. Specially to Sage with her fiery attitude and alpha-type leadership personality.
Sage has every right to be annoyed. Because Sage doesn't know Zoey and has every reason to not trust her - and as we can see, she was right (but more on that later). Also, Sage's previous relationship ended because of cheating, so that's a double red flag, and then the fear of being abandoned and rejected is another red flag. I'm sure these two wouldn't get along, Sage would easily figure out what's on Zoey mind (the looks Zoey gives MC are enough). Forget about Sage/Zoey, because:

She is both cute and scary when she is jealous.
My favorite part of Sage's arc was when she came to him with whiskey to pour out her heart about her family problems and how she found out that her "role model" Stephen didn't care about her all these years. Sage is exaggerating a bit when she calls MC "her rock", I think he still has a long way to go to mature for that. But he is a good shoulder support. Then Sage goes freaky with whiskey, party music, cards and you expect fun... but you get the most touching and emotional moment when Sage opens up about her birth mother... and she has never told anyone about this, ever. Sage went from best girl to wife material. Fuckface don't deserve her. Thanks DPC, you have issues, but that was amazing.

For Sage, Episode 11 is the best as a "relationship development". Better than Episode 10, where they were just learning to communicate and work together. They fought a little, but found common ground (I chose the de-escalation options in the Zoey conflict), they supported each other and MC was a good guy standing by her during the breakup of her family. Choosing to go with Sage to Burke is good personal growth for our guy and the right direction to go if you really want to be "my rock" as she said.
And no matter how hot the threesome with Camila was, my canon is a solo scene with Sage. Because of this:
Yes, my canon is the monogamous route with Sage. 12/10 journey, the GOAT route.
