why do many think the game has gotten worse with ep10&11?
havent got time to play the update yet but I dont even remember ep10 very well to be honest.

I would say that part of the complaints stem from the minigames getting ridiculously harder. (Though, these can be turned off). Tie that with the freeroams that are also divisive as many people despise them and that is the bulk of the complaints. Season 3 is, as of yet, left unfinished and chapter 11 races at a rapid pace only to touch upon new plot twists without any satisfactory denouements. The story and what people take from it, at this point, is purely subjective.

As for name of variable, i have already mentioned it before, but DPC always names variables after the chapter where the decision is made. So if it's named ep11 then the intention was for it to be set in Episode 11.

This has always been my argument. I know people have said oh it might not matter till the next episode, yeah sure, I can see they, but it would be called Ep12_ etc

I know things get overlooked, and it's easy to miss something. But this seems like a biggie. If it was indeed to happen in Ep11 and he has forgot. It's gonna cause a few problems when he looks for it in 12.

Unfortunately, even after the "My heart goes out to you" incident, DPC thinks himself to be Elon Musk and thinks he can program shit like Musk can. He might have overestimated his programming skills with this one. Cool mechanic, sure, but don't expect to get 100%. And not just because the game is big.

i dont care much. in my favorite game there were certain renders, here only percentage. the season 3 is over 10k render, 1 render is less then 00,01%. it gives less information.
but what is important. i am the only one who is disappointed, because there was no interaction with Rio or are you too?

The fact you can't go on the Josy date scene, if you did the Maya one and told her you loved her sucks. In fact I still haven't actually played the Josy version, because i'd tried to balance them throughout and I have no idea what triggered me to get Maya rather then Josy, I even tried and run where I didnt say 'I love you' to Maya and still didn't get it.

Waitwaitwaitwait, so you can go on a date with Maya instead of Josy? I thought there is only Josy's date because there was no choice option. What's the trigger?!

Whichever one you have chosen more throughout the whole game gets a date where you can tell them that you love them.

How much time you spent with Maya/Josy in the previous episodes.
There are few starting with Ep3 or 4 where you have to pick to follow Maya or Josy.
Whomever you spent more time with previously is who you will hang out with in Ep11.

If time was spent equally it will look at who you have the most RP with.

I think it's likely slipped under the radar because it doesn't produce any tangible results in this episode, and so it's perfectly possible for all beta-testing to overlook it, unless one literally checks the game's script as they go and also catches the fact that False is the default so there's no actual change in value.

But, well, DPC has now more than a year to get around fixing that. :hidethepain:

Ive looked at this. There's nothing in the code that actually flags it from False to True so it's not a bug. An unused variable that getting used next episode is unlikely. Id imagine in that case it would be called ep_12_bianca_path. It's possible that it should have been flagged to true in Tommy's room and DPC just forgot, but that also seems unlikely. Overall we don't know what that variable is and it's fucking annoying.

I just pulled up a few of my Bianca saves at the "end episode" screen and searched that flag and they are all true.
I didnt modify at all through URM, I dont think...

I just finished a Bianca path Ill load it up but I doubt that its the case. As a bunch of us have tested this over and over.

Edit: Nope that is impossible. Just tested it.

No, you’re not the only one. Many of us think we should have been at least given the option to pick up Quinn’s call at the beginning of the chapter. Others have discussed their frustration with the MC or Cammy not even attempting to call Rio. But I guess DPC has reasons…

I'll have to look at the code again and see if there is anything worthwhile that gets flagged around the same time that he could piggy back on.

I mean as you say it's one that can easily fly under the radar till it's discovered its needed in ep12 and beyond. Given most of us have gone through the chapter and made the choice, if he retroactovely adds it, that's a few replays for some to get in the place.

The problem with the party planner is that some 6.5 multipliers will get you an A and some will get you an S. That sort of margin is frustrating, especially when it's boardline impossible to get 6.75 with some lay outs if you don't have certain resources to hand.

Note that if you take the Multiplier Madness perk you can get easy S even with base multiplier as low as 6.25.

Also, the rank in general is decided by the score you get -- getting at least 90k points is A that can get bumped to S if you had all party activities enabled. Getting over 100k is guaranteed S.

Thx, yeah, I kept time between them balanced. So it comes to RP points and ofc there is almost 0 to tinker with in ep 11

Nothing change that variable on its own. I will do one more test. And that is staying at the party as that is what you seem to have done. We all have the rest of those variables.
