So yeah, after restaring from interlude because according to DPC's new "seen dialogue", I haven't played shit and never opened ep 9-10 (0.00% on everything baby), I can confirm that the mechanic is supposed to be universal for every save/run/playthtough, just like the special renders and the 2d art. That makes it even more horrible now that it's not unique for each save. This would mean that EVERY SINGLE AND MICROSCOPIC change in the dialogue will count. You could do some shit in ep 1 and the response in season 3 to that action/choice will slightly change and affect the dialogue counter (probably exaggerating with it, but you got the idea). This that most likely it would be IMPOSSIBLE for the majority of players to complete that counter even if DPC fixes it perfectly lmao.
Honestly, cool idea, but with the wayDPC makes all the branching and minuscle changes in the dialogue, this is a horrible idea
Well, depends on if you see it as an achievement you want to fulfill or just a tool. In the former case, if it really irks you, you probably can find the variable for it and just set it to 100% via console/URM. I just think it's a nice way to get a grasp of how much content I really have seen. If I think I'm done playing through and have 95% or so, I'll be fine, if it's only 80% or so, I might try to find not yet taken paths in the game. 100% seems impossible though with all the choices that possibly change dialogue, I doubt anyone will ever get there.
This has always been my argument. I know people have said oh it might not matter till the next episode, yeah sure, I can see they, but it would be called Ep12_ etc
I know things get overlooked, and it's easy to miss something. But this seems like a biggie. If it was indeed to happen in Ep11 and he has forgot. It's gonna cause a few problems when he looks for it in 12.
I'm sure DPC will find it during development of Ep12, way before any beta testers get their hands on it. Easy fix would be to just ask the player if he did do stuff with Bianca in Tommy's room or not, much like you get to get to choose that one thing from the interlude when you want to skip it and just start with Ep9. It ain't pretty, but it would work.
It's why I sometimes feel compelled to save Derek from that fate by showing the video of MC screwing Jade lol. Some things are just too fucked up to do, and every DIK would agree that jumping on a granny grenade is one of them.
Kinda just wondering now if, after finally getting the fallout from fucking Jade back then and having everyone rethink their decisions, DPC throws another curveball in Ep12 where letting Derek do that granny will have even greater repercussions in some way. ^^
Anybody, know how to fix this? It happens when I try to safe at the end of season 1. I tried crearing a persistent folder, but it still happens. It's a fresh install on a new pc, no mods, only URM if it counts. It sucks cause I can't transfer safes, so I had to use the ones at the 1st page.Tried searchig the thred, but only 2 guys had it and no one wrote a fix.

There are two slashes instead of backslashes in that path. No idea how and why, but doesn't look right, does it? :?
