In Episode 11, do we know exactly what variables are being compared when it chooses whether we get the Josy or Maya date branch? I had an important that I thought was pretty well balanced between the two, and the dialogue at the beginning of Season 3 agrees. First run I got the Josy branch; I tried getting the Maya branch by going back to the import and picking everything Maya I could, but I still get the Josy scene.

Bonus question -- can anyone tell me how to use the renpy console to fudge the numbers to get the Maya scene when I get there instead? I'd like to avoid going back to redo things in part 1.
I use Sancho for part 1 since it's finished so it can't really break, but I'm not using a multimod for part 2.

The easiest way would be to make your RP with Maya higher by writing "RPmaya = x" where x is a number.
You can check your curent RP by just writing RPmaya and RPjosy, then just add 5 or something to Mayas, but don't make it higher than 74.

If you have at least two more scenes with one your lock into her path if it within one scene then it comes down to RP's

Thanks, all. I have 52 for Maya and 49 for Josy so I must have more Josy scenes if I'm understanding. Is there a way to change that variable? Otherwise, a trip back to part 1 isn't a big deal; it's a fun game.

If they said you were equal in EP9 then you shouldn't have that. It compares the RP to a percentage of the max gainable so just try to add 5 or 10 to Maya and see if it triggers the Maya date instead.

You got me thinking. She suddenly started treating the main character differently. Of course, this could be put down to initial attraction, but now I'm not so sure.
Probably because she's broken up with Magnar and knows/has got a feeling that Magnar hates the DIKs.
I believe MC is also one of the few DIKs (besides only Jamie dancing with her) that has made contact with her, and probably one of the few boys overall that acts as bitchy towards her as he does towards him. She probably finds that attractive.

I think a lot of it was facade. She wanted to be part of the nerds but she obviously isn't smart enough for that and Magnar and Co. apparently cut her loose and don't help her with college anymore.

There is an earlier conversation with her during the dorm party that seems to indicate, that there is "trouble in paradise" between her and Magnar already.
