Hmm just a moment ago Malwarebytes decided to quarantine both BeingADIK.exe files (for both seasons 1/2 and 3), anyone else had similar issue?

I need help

Already reinstalled and redownloaded the game 4 times. Already replayed the whole episode 7. But my game always crash after the outro of episode 7.

I can't load episode 8. It always crash

It took him a while, but he also finally remembered Cinderella at the punch table.

Also I believe he should know from Halloween (if he remembers it) that Bianca's boyfriend at the time is called Matthew.
If he remembers that, he should know something is amiss if Bianca introduces her boyfriend at the faculty music event.

If I press ignore, it cycles between that another Exception page that adds to the above:

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?


EDIT: Found a solution

I have been able to proceed in the game by using an older version of Ren'Py (7.5.3 sdk) as opposed to the newer one/s that were giving me errors (8.3.4 and 8.3.6). The next scene uses a flashlight effect when searching dark scenes, so the render must have just not worked with with this newer version of Ren'Py.

So while I did have a Gallery Unlock mod installed on the last Being a DIK client, I wasn't sure if that was the problem. Using this old Ren'Py SDK seems to have solved it. Annoyingly had to start from the start of the Interlude again, but only took about 10 minutes of skipping through dialogue and speed-running the mini-games and free roam.

Hopefully this helps someone if they search the error one day.

Do you have any mods installed either now or previously?
Did you delete your saves in appdata before the clean install?
And your Episode numbers are correct? It is definitely crashing at end of Ep 7 in Season 1/2?

I don't have any mods. Im playing the 8.02 compressed version.

To be fair, we never see him talk with her (not counting Halloween) before the upper main room in the panty party. I don't even know how good he remembers any of his classmates that he doesn't occasionally interacts with xD

I need to look that up, but I thought the only girl he couldn't remember in ep 11 was Avery
