The reason on why she didn't break up with Chad was not that Sage is possessive, or that she sees other people as a threat. Is that she doesn't want to abandon him. She doesn't want to let go that easily. That's why she wanted to find out who the "bitch" was. She needed something to be justified. Or at least that's what she told herself. Again, Sage is complicated and with a lot of fears despite her out-going and carefree personality.

Possessive is the wrong word. Obsessive and stubborn fit better. Sage was into Chad for 2+ years. It isn't easy to let go of that. That's why she refuses to really consider just breaking up with him. She finds the panties and wants more concrete evidence. She gets the video and wants to know who is at the other end of the call. These were excuses Sage clung to instead of admitting to herself that her relationship with Chad was already over. 2+ years having been a waste is a scary idea to contemplate. The question of if she had screwed up somewhere or the whole thing having been a mistake from start, isn't that fun either.

Imo they were just that, especially since as far was I understand Zoey, she never really "investigated" her feelings until episode 10 when MC told her how he really felt at the BBQ.

They did all the things a couples does, shared all their time together, fucked and so on. Not stating the type of their relationship makes it imo closer to being a couple than to being a fwb relationship.

Im 100% convinced neither Zoey nor Tremolo would have been fine with the other one having any kind of sexual/romantic relations to other people during this time and so on.

And im pretty sure most people would call that a relationship/couple even more with two young people involved instead of a fwb relationship

They did all the things a couples does, shared all their time together, fucked and so on. Not stating the type of their relationship makes it imo closer to being a couple than to being a fwb relationship.

Im 100% convinced neither Zoey nor Tremolo would have been fine with the other one having any kind of sexual/romantic relations to other people during this time and so on.

They did not do one (at least imo and as far as we know) important thing to be a couple: going on dates.

But maybe thats a "cultural" thing, i think the whole dating stages/rituals thing is more usual/normal in the usa where youre probably from and less in europe

I don't believe we ever see them (or hear them talking about it) going to the movies and to the restaurants. They only hangout together either at house or in a park or something.

Yes I did. We went to the cinema often and we also went to a bit more "expensive" (aka just a tad more expensive than fastfood) restaurants regularly. That's what pocket money is for.

Well i can tell you not everyone gets enough pocket money to visit - better than fastfood - restaurants. And Zoey and Tremolo surely did not got that kind of money considering their backgrounds.

Maybe your view on the whole thing is kinda screwed by your own experience.

1) Plot was fine but the rendering quality was really embarrassing, quality dropped too much. Clothes and body posing reached new lows, it was horrible and often unpleasant.

I was going to make a post talking about this but I was too lazy to do it at the time, and now I'm too lazy to go back and find all the renders that I thought looked like shit, but some renders actually took me aback when I played E11, there's some blatant instances of peoples skin clipping through their clothes, there's ugly grainy renders that look like they belong in E1-E2 (when DPC was using a 1080ti) etc.

What the actual fuck is DPC doing?

Before Zoey left sure, or at least Zoey would. We know earlier Tremolo felt love (or at least something like it) for Zoey. However how I interpret Zoey during the interlude, for her it was just lust, fun and friendship. Not love involved (other than the love you feel for just a friend) at all. That's also why I don't count it as a relationship before she left.

Looking at it that way, you could also say that MC and Quinn or MC and Jill are already a couple if you're on their route. Just going on dates doesn't make it a couple, just feeling out if becoming a couple is possible.

I did not enter this thread since the 7th March, I was able to play a few routes only in the last days. I haven't read many posts but here is my short review about EP 11:

1) Plot was fine but the rendering quality was really embarrassing, quality dropped too much. Clothes and body posing reached new lows, it was horrible and often unpleasant.
2) fuck these mini-games: English, maths, science. They really become a burden and waste of time.
3) fuck animations: I haven't seen a decent one and the non-lewd ones were pointless
4) no improvement at all in the sex scenes I've seen from Main Girls (Jill, Sage,Bella) and others. Very mechanical, boring, no eroticism, no interesting dialogues, just a sequence of positions like an annoying task DPC has to do while thinking about mini-games or weird animations. I've yet to play Maya/Josy path but the sex scenes I've seen so far are really crap in all the aspects.

14 months of development time, millions of Euros for THIS result? If he does not want to get help to improve the visual quality, he has to redefine his priorities. This is not the product of a hobby, this is the most financially successful VN ever, expectations should be higher than average, not lower.

Dating is the evolution of courting, so its origins are actually European, though I completely agree that for two people who spend a lot of time together it's not really necessary.
For kids with no money formal "dating" would have been too expensive most likely.
I sense that MC probably considers not labelling any of the time he and Zoey spent together as dates was a mistake. Hence his eagerness to call the first alone time with Josy a date way back in episode one.
