The reason the game doesn't treat the 4 you don't pick as exes during the interaction between the group is because it's optional to date them. Zoey is treated differently because her & Tremolo's relationship exist regardless of the chosen path. It's a game limitation. Not a narrative issue.

Because if you date all 5 women at the same time, they all feel they are in a relationship with Tremolo. Some handle the breakup better than others. Sage, Maya & Bella handle it fairly maturely. Josy does not handle the breakup well at all. And Jill is devastated. Just because Sage, Maya, & Bella don't freak out, doesn't mean they weren't hurt or devastated by not being chosen. You can tell they were.

In a real world scenario, Sage would be a hypocrite to have an issue with Zoey, but have no issues with Josy & Maya. And if she found out about Jill & Bella, the same would be true. The only difference between Zoey & the rest is time.

2. She's talked to him about it said reveal. She was scared, and now she isn't.
3. Her issues with it are resolved. She trusts him.

Problem solved. Combined with the MC dealing with Zoey, choosing Sage, and even having a potential ILY both ways in the process.

While it's possible I don't understand Sage as a character as well as you do, you don't seem understand the comparison, or the narrative, as it has shown us.

Your reluctance to talk about it only shows me your assessment is wrong, and can't admit to it. In no way am I stretching the narrative. That's why I went and posted screen caps showing that Sage was only concerned about being cheated on, like she was with Chad. She was scared of that. The MC sees Zoey as a old friend, and nothing more, but didn't explain himself as clear as he could to Sage at his house. He's resolved of Zoey's issues, and is quite confident in his feelings for Sage. He would do this with any girl, and giving Zoey more attention in the narrative is foolish unless the narratives gives us a reason to. So far, there is none.

Sage is no longer scared. Her boyfriend is still hers, and he's not fooling around. Crisis averted. There's no need to tell her about Zoey's confession because there's no problem for MC or Sage.

The reason on why she didn't break up with Chad was not that Sage is possessive, or that she sees other people as a threat. Is that she doesn't want to abandon him. She doesn't want to let go that easily. That's why she wanted to find out who the "bitch" was. She needed something to be justified. Or at least that's what she told herself. Again, Sage is complicated and with a lot of fears despite her out-going and carefree personality.

Possessive is the wrong word. Obsessive and stubborn fit better. Sage was into Chad for 2+ years. It isn't easy to let go of that. That's why she refuses to really consider just breaking up with him. She finds the panties and wants more concrete evidence. She gets the video and wants to know who is at the other end of the call. These were excuses Sage clung to instead of admitting to herself that her relationship with Chad was already over. 2+ years having been a waste is a scary idea to contemplate. The question of if she had screwed up somewhere or the whole thing having been a mistake from start, isn't that fun either.
