Right, so Sage is afraid of being abandoned but there's nothing about insecurities here. And since her relationship with Chad ended because of cheating she is afraid that MC does the same even though he gives her no real basis to think like that. But that's not jumping to conclusions, none at all.

There is no insecurities here. This is rational behavior of a girl who is protecting her territory, especially with Sage's hot temperament. And did you even play this path? She trusts Tremolo, she doesn't think he will cheat on her, but DOESN'T TRUST ZOEY, believing that she "can push the right buttons." And as we can see, this is absolutely justified - thanks to Grunt for the photo fixation.

"Many other girls are like her" doesn't change anything about that it's all rooted in insecurity, possessiveness and jumping to conclusions. Those "many other girls" are simply the same as Sage in that regard. But, like you note yourself, this is not universal behavior. Just widespread.

Of course, these are all insecurities, and not a desire to protect your relationship from the unknown, which is normal human behavior. Lord, why do I need to explain such simple things in relationships for F95 users? The question is rhetorical.

She doesn't trust both if she thinks that Zoey is somehow capable of taking MC from her. Actually trusting him would mean believing he'd just turn her down if she tried anything.

(and yes, that trust could be very well misplaced. But it's different thing entirely from not trusting him in the first place)

I've already addressed that in the other reply, but if you think that your partner will cheat on you if only someone pushes their buttons that's not trust. That's the opposite of it, i.e. lack of trust in a person, that they could actually resist getting their buttons pushed.

And whether that lack of trust turns out justified if you choose to play MC who does fall if he gets his buttons pushed, that's separate from not having trust in your MC in the first place.

Poor Jillybeans gets no respect, it's actually quite sad.

Also, she seems pretty secure about other women hanging around with her boyfriend in a hot tub, all naked.

Bianca and Bella are Jill's closest friends she trusts absolutely (what was dumb, it is precisely such friends that need to be watched with a hawk's eye)
She also reacts negatively to his "date with Zoey" - doubts, but because of her upbringing and shyness she kept silent, then complained to Sage. The same reason - Zoey is Tremolo's ex, Jill knows nothing about and it is normal to be afraid of the unknown.

It's not about trusting him, its about not trusting the intentions of Zoey and she was right.

Zoey wanted to take him back.

While Sage protested, she didn't argue with MC or tell him off or gave him an ultimatum.
This ultimately landed in MC's court of whether betraying that trust on Zoey.

This is not "fear of unknown". It's a negative prediction of the outcome.

Sage being damaged and insecure person thanks to her past experiences is very much part of her character. There's no need to put her on pedestal and pretend those aspects of hers aren't there, or that these intended faults aren't faults. When i think the very point of her character arc is that she'll eventually learn to get over them.

I know her flaws very well. This is a boiling temper like Tommy, a closed nature that is expressed in an unwillingness to talk about feelings, this is a fear of being abandoned. This is her obsession with someone or an idea, because of which she may not notice what is happening around her, she can become obsessed to the unhealthy. This is also a superficial judgment of people (Jill).
Sage grows as a person during the game and overcomes her problems and this is especially good together with MC.
But talking about her as an insecure and complexed girl who thinks that Tremolo will cheat on her is made up. This is directly written in the dialogues between them - Sage does not trust Zoey, she trusts Tremolo, but she doesn't like the idea that Zoey can use her tricks. Tremolo will not cheat on her, but it is still unpleasant and makes her uncomfortable. He is in the company of his ex, Sage knows nothing about and it is unknown what the blue one will do. Plus Tremolo handle it like a retard from the beginning.
And yes, Zoey confesses her love to him, and a more sassy version of her kisses Sage's boyfriend. Fears were justified, I think. Putting myself in Sage's shoes, I would really like to break that expensive stylish manicure on her face.

Don't think I'm blindly protecting Sage from criticism, I have my own views on ex-situations and I follow them.
