Jade says to the MC that he doesn't have to worry about her being on the Pill, and the pair do go on to adopt so there must be some infertility issues with the couple. Where that infertility lies and what they have done to confirm is another story - Now given up until recently I think Jades been quite loyal and well Stephen hasn't - there's certainly evidence that Stephen is indeed firing blanks, but that might be me looking into it a bit more than I should
