I don't think it's so much the fact two of his fuckbuddies were cheating on each other with him as the whole "worlds collide" of it all and Tremolo not handling surprises at all well - he's not mad that they were secret lesbian lovers; he's overwhelmed and panicking and needing to get away and process - and because he's got the EQ of a turnip, it takes him several days to even think about it, let alone reach any sort of conclusion.

Those lines are the mod-detection DPC put in - if you've saved the game while using a mod that stores any sort of data, then there's a trace left in the saves and in your persistent data (gallery unlocks, etc) - and loading contaminated data with an unmodded copy of the game triggers that check and quits the game on you.

Depending on how computer savvy you are, your options are:
- install the latest version of the mod, which will bypass that check (and the corresponding ones in other episodes)
- scrub your save games and persistent file (both from the game's save folder, and from the secondary save location in the %appdata% folder) and start over
- modify the code yourself to take out the mod-traps (and hope the mod didn't mess up any variables in a way that the unmodded game can't cope with)
