If you think that this is Josy's story, you really, really, have not been paying attention. Josy refuses to complain about a lot of things in her life; such as her abusive stepmother, abusive stepbrother, cheating shitbag of a father and cold, disapproving mother but she has just as many problems as Sage/Maya if not more. Her relationship with Maya almost imploded because her controlling father and bitch stepmother grounded his adult daughter. They did make up later because he is a malignant narcissist and knows how to weaponize her love for him against her. He's been doing it for years. She has been pushing this shit down for years and trying to see the best in everybody. So when she gets shit talked by a random guy that she was just trying to be nice to all that pushed down shit came bubbling to the surface. She is used to getting devalued like that, and she tries to find a positive way to change it. It seems likely to me that the fashion and blogging aspect is aimed at getting attention from one person: her mother. You see this more if you play her route, but she is basically trying to emulate her mother's career. She isn't attention-seeking so much as running home to mommy. Perhaps this is to address the mistake she made in taking her dad's side during the divorce. In any case, she matches Maya well in the baggage department.
Some decent points in there.
But, please, make better use of paragraphs and line spacing so it's not so damn hard on the eyes. :p

Sage: impending divorce, father who never wanted her, issues regarding her biological mother, being cheated on by Chad
Sadness score 6.5/10

Jill: sister's drug overdose, father's alcoholism
Sadness score 5.5/10

Maya: abusive father, dying mother, living closeted, worrying about inheriting her mother's disease
Sadness score 8/10 (if the contract problem wasn't already solved it would be 9/10)

Josy: parents separation, distant mother, identity crisis
Sadness score: 5/10

Bella: estranged husband, past clouded in mystery and unknown
Sadness score: impossible to calculate without more of her past being revealed

The only thing abusive in Josy's life was her stepmother as she just verbally told her stuff (Sure it can have a psyche if told enough). Tommy was a nuisance but never abused. Finally father is shown to be an actual father to her, and we see this in episode 5 where he dropped her stuff, paid her bills and wished her the best WHILE also crying and left a note for her. Her mother I can give you that.

TLDR: Verbal Abuse: Stepmom and Mom. Nuisance: Tommy. Excellent Relationship: Dad.

I will also give you the whole debacle with Maya's relationship as I have stated in that post.

However, getting shit talked by a guy who you rejected should invalidate any opinion especially at that moment. I have seen this in real life where I had female friends reject a guy, and that guy goes well "You are a bitch and looked easy". So that should invalidate anything tbh.

Anyways after the motivates of the blogging and fashion, it might be as you said and it might no be. I say this because she literally looked up girls certain ages are into it.

FYI: I played her route and this is what I got from it. Maya has more baggage than Josy because of her mother's condition, the outcome of her father (We still don't know if he is still being a prick, I know Maya gave us a TLDR) AND finally the disease that will strike her or derek eventually going by DPC AL writing.

Just verbal...
Just psychological....
Lemme put this as politely as I'm able....
Fuck you.

edit:
Fine.. I was triggered...
Few minutes calmer now...
Bruises faded in time. And the bones healed.
The phycological part of the trauma is there forever.

Never put the word 'just' in front of the words 'psychological trauma'.

We've learned in 11 that her parents died in a car accident, and because there was no will, she inherited everything. That ruined the relationships she had with her aunt and grandparents, hence why she's all alone.

DENIED FUCK YOU MORE

EDIT: Wording was kinda shit, what I mean was there was no physical abuse or mental abuse ie manipulation, abandonment and etc.

If you want to play the edit game, I will never apologize and will keep putting just because you are putting context of psychological issues as if I am shrugging it off. Anyways its whatever, you do you

This really grew on me, I hated the dnd sequences at first :KEK:
It's fun the first time, and getting the different endings. But it's also nice and easy to skip, just get killed immediately.
I still want a sci-fi version :sneaky:
probably something more interesting than a closed door left open
Maybe Bella's locked room is a Narnia thing, and it leads to the DnG world :BootyTime:
