yeah i get where you coming from. Since her introduction during end of season 2 and tease with interlude, it was really just a matter of time when and how she gonna become official LI in the game. And having her around was nice but its one of those things that no matter what happens some people will be angry.but i'm fine, i'm just disappointed by how zoey was integrated into the story. if zoey had gone back to being mc's best friend before declaring herself it would have been more complicated to reject her, it would have been a real temptation. when she arrived she could have really given something more to badik, unfortunately for me it didn't go that way, it just postponed what everyone knew would happen, with unmemorable scenes in between. that's called wasted time
If DPC focus on zoey too much in a single update lot of people who locked in on main LI's will be angry for waiting so long and for how short the update is from their POV as they dont care to explore and see zoey's POV or worse they will see it and complain how that was not worth the wait.
On the other hand, putting her on the sidelines like other "other" LI's to maintain the hierarchy of main girls only put zoey on huge disadvantage as she comes in with lot of baggage and is treated the same way as side girls and prostitutes.
when you boil it down to game design and structure of game mechanics yeah she never had a fair chance. If she was in the "background" since episode 1 and not a random tag-in from the end of season 2 her character and story would be much better but it is what it is.
