Not even if it’s a posthumous medal confirming James is dead and Bella has just been unable or refused to process the grief? That would be a conclusion. And, once again, DPC will plow on with the next cliffhanger. I just don’t think it’s going to be a major lasting problem. Another quick tidy fix and MC and friends will be there for Bella as she processes that grief. Fixed and moving on… IMHO

Is it hanging on the wall with a light illuminating it or something, because remember the room is dark. There's also the fact that whatever this is has to also impact Bella's path, and a nursery would have more dramatic weight than a medal in regards to Bella and her relationship with MC.
