Ah, so you could save Rusty's car and unlock the VIP pass even without playing the mini-games??? :O
That mod lets you toggle the mini-games on and off as well as change your dik score and affinity on the fly. Unlock all scenes and rewards, etc. Change personal money and party planning money. Use those a lot.

I have avoided mods so far, because DPC hates them and makes modding hard and hazardous, but thanks, might consider this alternative. Other would be doing from the beginning with mini-games off. However I don't know how one can manage without them.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend scrappy mods for any game, and least of all for Being a DIK. The fact that it fucks with game files is a big fat NO. It's notorious for generating thousands of "bug" complaints when people try to use outdated scrappy mods and it's the main reason why DPC codes in a kill command at the start of every episode when persistent.mod_wt_enabled != None. (Ironically, now those same people complain about "game crashes" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: )

The only mod I'd ever recommend for BADIK (or any renpy game) is URM. It gives you a "walkthrough-like" feedback with the path detection and it doesn't fuck with your game files.

Yes, exactly my reasoning. I hold the game in high esteem, plus I have never had crashes ever thanks to not using any mod.

Thanks anyway! :)
From the walkthrough: You’ll need $18 if you plan
on getting everyone the most expensive option, or you can buy something cheaper or choose not to buy anything at all for someone. It’s your choice to whom you want to give a gift. Add and remove money from the budget with the + buttons. If you’re playing without mini-games, you start with $5 in the budget.

Game is pretty damn quick without minigames. Remember to return the library books for Bella and don't accept the Hell Week prize (use money for the mansion).

No shade at all on Jericho's opinion. I'd say the exact opposite but I'm a specific kind of user. I use scrappy mods wherever available and they seriously improve my game experience. I love being able to flip to DIK affinity to punch Oscar and then immediately flip back so Jill doesn't give me grief. I don't want to worry about money or mini-games and I'd rather fix a flag to get a scene than have lots of saves and play throughs just to get one tiny piece of content.

I can't comment on actual game errors but it seems to me it's the users, rather than the mod which cause problems. Outdated mods, incorrect installs, mismatching setup between 1&2 vs 3, etc. Haven't ever had a problem with a properly versioned and installed Scrappy mod.

Just to restate... everything Just Jericho said seems to be balls on accurate, from a certain perspective. In the end it's up to you. Good luck.

Worth mentioning that every one of those things can be done very easily in URM too :WeSmart:
