Maybe we'll play interlude 2 from Nick's point of view and get to decide what kind of role he plays in S4.
A Bella opening is likely, but any Nick flashback could easily take place in the middle of the story too, similar to Stephen's.I still feel that it's far more likely we open with a Bella flashback but I think we would need to see a bit more from Nick's perspective to sympathise with him.
Biggest hope would be that the flashback includes him disappearing with the laptop at the party to show what really went down.
Nick sneaks into the mansion when everyone is asleep, and steals the fish money againMaybe we'll play interlude 2 from Nick's point of view and get to decide what kind of role he plays in S4.
Could feasibly be a cutscene of Nick seeing all the bad shit that Tommy has done to Heather and would facilitate a cutscene and needing multiple environments.Status update Episode 12
I've been working on a long scene for the entire week. And it's one of those scenes that I've wanted to create since day one, so I'm having a very good time with it. It's a bit surreal seeing it come to life after all these years. The scene I'm working on has a variety of environments and characters, meaning that it takes quite a while to create each render.
I also posed another minute-long cutscene animation.
Here's the thing though, we don't really need to see more of Tommy being a shitty boyfriend while Nick sulks in the background like the bitch he is. Tommy has been shown to be a certified asshole again and again. This idea also tracks with the devlog:

I'm probably way off but its what came to mind outside of a Bella locked room flashback.
I think it could be valuable to actually see the history between Nick, Tommy and Heather. Maybe DPC will try to paint Nick in a more positive light in the flashback to make players more inclined to sympathise with him and offer forgiveness. Here's the thing though, we don't really need to see more of Tommy being a shitty boyfriend while Nick sulks in the background like the bitch he is. If that's going to be something other than the locked room, what about the nerds? I remember someone suggested that we get another crossover opening like Episode 11's, where we see the formation of the DIKs from the nerds' perspective, and see what started this quest for revenge (like the DIKs mansion used to "belong" to the nerds).
Forgive Nick? NeverI think it could be valuable to actually see the history between Nick, Tommy and Heather. Maybe DPC will try to paint Nick in a more positive light in the flashback to make players more inclined to sympathise with him and offer forgiveness.
I agree with your idea too though, i'd like to see where all the resentment from the nerds actually came from and how they began to formulate their revenge plans.
And therein lies my pointForgive Nick? Never![]()

That seemed to be the setup from the start. The only thing he really did "wrong" was fuck Heather but I'd have done the same. Fuck Tommy. Biggest man whore in the world, completely ignores her most of the time and then he cries because someone fucked her. He's not that great with cause and effect or being a good frat brother.95% of people in this thread hate Nick now and call him a rat etc. I believe that DPC wants to give Nick a potential redemption and to do that the player needs to be given more reasons to sympathize with him.
Tried asking on F95.
Here's the thing though, making me feel sorry for him won't earn my forgiveness, only my understanding (maybe). Having him actively work to fix what he broke—our trust—is how you earn forgiveness. And therein lies my point.

He's already been laying the groundwork for a "forgive Nick" decision but I think, for many of us, we would need to be given more of a reason to offer our forgiveness after the rat shit that he pulled.
I think that's what is being set up.Here's the thing though, making me feel sorry for him won't earn my forgiveness, only my understanding (maybe). Having him actively work to fix what he broke—our trust—is how you earn forgiveness.

I would definitely explore the "redemption" path. The thing folks seem to hate is that he spilled some stuff told in confidence. But he didn't like, just do it in passing. He was under extreme duress and I'm sure he saw it as a life line at the moment. A way to shift some of the mountain of blame off himself.
And that'll probably depend on you treat Nick. Here's the thing though, making me feel sorry for him won't earn my forgiveness, only my understanding (maybe). Having him actively work to fix what he broke—our trust—is how you earn forgiveness.

You will team up with Nick to bring down Magnar and the Nerds if you choose to "forgive" him after the huge fight.
As I said earlier, you will bring all of your allies together to uncover their scheme which will essentially end the main plot (outside of the drug stuff with Quinn/Vinny/Buddy I guess).
And that'll probably depend on you treat Nick.
Thats why DPC is giving us the options of "think Nick is a traitor" "give him the cold shoulder" vs the "think Nick isn't the traitor" "give Nick some space, he's still a Brother, we'll work it out". If you're a cunt to Nick, Nick has no want to make amends with the DIKs. If you make the overture to Nick, he'll come back and apologize and shit.
It takes both sides to resolve issues. You gotta be receptive to Nick, as much as Nick has to want to fix things. I figure thats what DPC is doing with Nick.
I'm pretty sympathetic to Nick, he was just being dumped on and backed into a corner, and he lashed out the only way he could. Its no different that Tommy punching MC when he felt MC was pushing him. Chad going after MC when he saw the pictures. These are douchebag frat boys ultimately, they don't have a healthy way to deal with this shit. Most of my saves will be MC trying to work it out with him.
I appreciate the 1st screengrab (I can never remember what chapter that is in). However, I've now come to the realization that Arieth has a total of 3 facial expressions.View attachment 4907171

She also handles the vibrator challenge way better than Josy. There's a hidden freak in there, enjoys risks and public stuff. The more she explores her sexuality, the more confident she becomes.Maya taking anal like a champ made me wonder just how much we can do with her, like how much of a slut is there in her?
