Looking at the end scene of ep 11, that is a near certainty. I doubt it's without reason that DPC shows her looking at MC's text and even has multiple versions of it depending on what text(s) you send her.
true. also I just realise asian gym-girl is one who near fighters? can she be Chao's daughter. then you go tournament, win it. and Chao go like "you deserve her now" :WeSmart:

Speak for yourself. I like her personality, looks and attitude. The only alt girl besides Quinn in the game.
I'm not saying her personality or looks are bad. In fact, her personality is great.

But so is 24+ everyone else. (Well except Bella.)

Her function in the story, the Interlude, and the very nature of how she was presented in destroying the characters and their potential relationships in the game, is horrible. If it was some ongoing trauma, memory, or thing that was holding MC back by not accepting others or new relationships, then okay, that would be one big pay off after all these years of trying other people and failing. If broken hearted manwhore MC is on Others, he could have some kind of revelation where he wants something serious (in the phone call scene where the player is not on anyone's path after Crossroads and feels lonely), somewhat reminiscent of Zoey's growth. Which would be a 2 for 2; Zoey's and MC's growth in accepting a serious relationship, is finished. Zoey accepts MC, and goes to find him. MC figures out he still has feelings for Zoey, and accepts her. It would be the default option, and have it's own place.

But it isn't. MC had no revelation. Best we get is a Joaquin Phoenix pose amidst dad's glass. It's absolutely bonkers that all this time (okay, around less than a year for MC), and all the sexual hi-jinks he's gotten into, all the current relationships, all the amazing women, parties, sex, friends, then Zoey comes back, then the way Zoey was presented, and the way the player just decides to choose her...it's destructive, silly, and seems spur of the moment, tacked on.

Instead of a solid series of choices. Of course, there was no "Zoey" path. Just one destructive option for being nice to an old friend, because your life is so much more awesome after that.

All because you can choose whomever.

This is why Lily, Nicole and Nora work as personas of these ideas (going from Others->serious), whereas Zoey is hamfisted.

Did we really need Interlude to explain her scenario and make her more DIK/Chick? Or that amazing Zoey panic-attacking run cycle? Or her to call up her friends for even more emotional support to do the thing she was supposed to do on day one after coming back? Would've worked as a default Others player going "let's try the old girl, why not?" Makes no sense when on MGs.
