Actually, a fancy dinner to celebrate their rebooted relationship wouldn't be such a bad idea. Or they could jokingly go to some Mexican family restaurant, way too overdressed for the occasion. I think the weirdest thing in Being A DIK is that it's hard to go for a freshman classmate and have a normal relationship in freshman year.
Jill is from a rich family that is quite out of most people's league. Maya and Josy are already a couple. Sage is a senior student who shouldn't be familiar with the MC. "Cinderella" is just the kind of girl who could be your girlfriend if you are very lucky in your real college life.

Episode 10 just before the Thanksgiving Party and Jill and Trent finding out about Tybalt's girlfriend.
He only mentioned they learned Jade was barren, there's no mention of test or anything.
