The game will be in development for a long time, we will be very lucky if it is finished before 2035. I think most players will start over again more than once just for fun. Maybe my relationship with Zoey will be ruined in episode 15 because of the wrong decision I made in episode 2. So what? The worst that could happen is that I have to start over, but that's not a big deal because I love this game.
I'm probably in the minority, but I don't believe that the route where the player fucked Jade and started dating Sage is doomed to fail. Players couldn't know that she was Sage's mother. I think the player should be able to correct mistakes made without malicious intent.
Same with the restaurant. In a good game, the choices have to be balanced. If the restaurant takes a lot in the future (like Sage ending any relationship with the MC), then it should give a lot. But it doesn't give much. Just a few low-quality sex scenes. Hell, it's not even needed for Quinn's route. And the restaurant completely loses its purpose in season 3, because now the MC can get any girl for free.
If the player is going to get a harsh punishment for the restaurant, it will just lead to everyone fixing their saves and always refusing it. I don't think DPC wants the game to have "dead" choices where everyone always chooses the same thing.

I totally agree. This game is one of the few that I enjoy replaying to see even the smallest changes. Season 3 was very enjoyable in that regard. Mushroom and non-mushroom MC as an example.

His estimations have changed in the last 2 Q&As.
Last year it was 14-16 episodes
This year he said he can't give an episode count like 13, 14, 15

What has been consistent is that season 4 won't be like other seasons, doubled down this year with the vote for the special render character vote being the last one.

I, along with a few others are reading between the lines a bit here, but suspect once we get into season 4 it's epilogue/ending time. No more pathing, no more freeroams, just a nice little on rails "kinetic style" story like the last bit of Acting Lessons.

I think we're being too picky about such trifles. The wrong currency definitely doesn't make the game worse, specially when it is a fictional setting. DPC has Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia in the US, and when we walk with Lily through the park in Ep.10 we see very steep mountains on the the cityscape background, which makes think of Rio de Janeiro, so these are conventions.

I think the cityscape and mountain range are easy enough to overlook if one didn't even know what Kuala Lumpur looked like, or didn't have a good sense of geography. But the money thing is simple: game is set in America, have American money. It'd be the same if the campus had a country flag other than the American one.
