Elena was basically flat when, for instance, roaming around John Boy's room in Ep 5 after the Alphas trashed it. As time went on, she was given a nicer ass. Undeniably so. And Sally is the same: in her bio in MC's new phone, she looks like an actual child. Then she was given a huge ass in Ep 8's Dorm Party and a rather curvy body in Ep 9 when MC gives his clothes to her.

Cosmetic changes are indeed present.

In addition, DPC began to use a higher-quality lighting system, previously he illuminated the entire render with static light, but now several sources of good directional light and accompanying effects such as Ambient Occlusion are noticeable. This gives objects more volume. Good lighting can transform models for the better and reveal things we haven't seen before.
Overall: Sally is looking much more better now.
